MVS Medical Oxygen generators offer a very reliable source of continuous medical-grade Oxygen for all your medical needs. These online generators can easily cater to your average needs and also your peak demand as and when needed. We supply these on a turnkey basis and customize these as per your actual requirements. If required, our generators can utilize compressed air, if available at your site as the feed air.

Our systems also have a fail-safe mechanism which allow the Oxygen supply to automatically switchover to backup cylinder supply in the unlikely event that our system deviates from preset limits. Audible and Visual systems alarms also alert the maintenance personnel of this condition so that corrective service can be performed.

• Fully integrated: These medical generation systems are completely integrated and only power supply needs to be connected in order to start generating Oxygen. We custom design these systems and in a typical configuration they include:

PSA principle: This process consists of 2 vessels filled with Molecular Sieves and Activated Alumina. Clean compressed air at 30° C temperature is passed through one vessel and oxygen comes out as product gas. The exhaust gas (Nitrogen) is discharged back into atmosphere. Upon saturation of the molecular sieve bed, the process switches Oxygen generation to the other bed by automatic valves, while allowing the saturated bed to undergo regeneration by depressurization and purging to atmospheric pressure. Thus 2-vessels keep cycling alternately in Oxygen production and regeneration ensuring Oxygen gas is continuously available to your process.

• Reliable, well-proven technology: PSA technology has been used in MVS Oxygen plants for over three decades and our generators are operating successfully all over the world. This technology is time tested and very well proven. We use molecular sieves from only well renowned and reputed suppliers, which ensures that you get many years of trouble free operation and long life from your investment.

• Fast Startup: PSA units can be turned ON and OFF on-demand with the push of a single button. PSA units only require 5 minutes to start producing high purity Oxygen and there isn’t a need for the unit to be running when you are not consuming Oxygen gas. This is unlike the cryogenic systems where the unit has to be kept running tom maintain Oxygen purity, whether gas is needed or not.

• Compact Modular Design: MVS incorporates the use of several skids and designing the system in a modular construction. This feature allows easy transportation and easy installation of the system at your site. MVS Engineering is the leading manufacturer of VPSA Oxygen Plants. We have been manufacturing Oxypure VPSA (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption) and PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) Oxygen generators for several years and have supplied many such units.

VPSA Principle: This process consists of 2 beds filled with Molecular Sieves. These cycle alternately in Production and in Regeneration. Feed air pressure is generally 1.1 to 1.5 Bar, which gives Oxygen production at 1.05 to 1.3 Bar. Regeneration of Molecular sieves is done by a Vacuum pump 0.4 Bar Absolute pressure. The waste gas is 85% Nitrogen and 15% Oxygen which is vented to atmosphere. Product Oxygen gas purity is 90 to 95%.

Comparison of VPSA with PSA technology:

• Well suited for larger capacities: Due to lower power consumption in larger capacities, VPSA design is preferred and recommended for larger capacity (typically above 200 NM3/hr capacities) Oxygen requirements.

• Lower power consumption: Power consumption is only 0.45 KW per cubic meter of Oxygen produced. At capacities above 200 NM3/hr, this is lower than a corresponding PSA unit.

• Lower output pressure: Direct Oxygen production pressure is up to 1.3 Bar. This is lower than PSA plants, in which output pressure of up to 4 Bar can be derived. However, for higher Oxygen pressure requirement in VPSA plants, Oxygen compressor is added and supplied by us.
  

• Higher Investment: Compared to PSA Oxygen plants, VPSA plants are more costly to build. However, due to more efficient operation, this extra cost is easily recovered in short time.
