The prepared juices allowed through pipes and a flow transducer will give the instantaneous flow rate as 4-20 ma. Our system gets the input from the flow sensor and calculates the integrated flow rate/hour and also flow rate/shift. The process is completely monitored on the PC, which is helpful to know the quantity produced in the industry. Our project can get input from 8 flow sensors at a time.

Generally ICU is a hospital facility for provision of intensive nursing and medical care of critically ill patients, characterized by high quality and quantity of continuous nursing and medical supervision and by use of sophisticated monitoring and resuscitative equipment
The patients in the ICU need a constant monitoring of their ECG, Temperature and heart beat. This project is a working model, which incorporates sensors to measure important parameters namely the Temperature, Respiratory temperature, Heart Beat and ECG. The sensors are interfaced to computer, so that the condition of a patient can be analyzed by doctors in any part of the hospital wherever they are. Whenever there is an abnormality felt by the patient, the particular patient will give an alarm signal, by which the doctor can rush to the patient. Even when the patient is in an unconscious condition, all the parameters will be sensed and doctor will be cautioned, thus it reduces doctor?s workload and also gives more accurate results. Our project is a working model which incorporates sensors to measure all these parameters like Body Temperature, Respiratory Temp, Saline Status, ECG and Heart Beat rate and transfer it to the computer, so that the patient condition can be analyzed to by doctors in any part of the hospital wherever they are. Thus it reduces doctors work load and also gives more accurate results, wherever there is an abnormality felt by the patient, we have also incorporated saline monitoring system which gives an alarm when the saline bottle about to empty.

The speed of the DC Motor will be controlled by the Voice Inputs / Commands. This is a voltage based speed control system, which uses the special voice IC, Microcontroller to process the commands and control the speed
In this Project - to start the motor, we use a command, for example 1 to start the motor. Similarly other commands like 2 to increase the speed of the DC motor from the current level, 3 to increase the speed of the DC motor more from the 2nd level, 4 for the maximum speed of the motor. Similarly 5 to stop the motor

The Transmitter will be attached to the remote control to control the operations of the Vehicle In the Receiver Section or Vehicle model, battery will be the power source, which will be connected to the Microcontroller, RF Module. LED indication will be provided, from the Remote Control the ON / OFF flying operations will be achieved and as well as Speed of the Vehicle will be controlled. A Hands Gesture System

When an unfortunate event affects the motor capacity of a person, it is necessary to use devices like wheelchairs that offer a means o displacement for patients with motors problems of the lower limbs. Some patients that cannot manipulate the wheelchair with their arms due to a lack of force or psychomotor problems in the superior members, request electric wheelchairs, frequently manipulated with joysticks; however the joystick manipulation is even not practical and frequently it must be handle with the mouth. The

present article presents the partial results in the development of a wheelchair controlled by an intuitive interface, where the instructions are given by hand gesture instructions. The advances are presented in the realization of the control software using a Webcam and some distances and presence sensors controlled by a PIC microcontroller that establishes the communication with a program developed in Labview

Our robot main functionality is Materials Handling - `Pick and Place', which has been developed to achieve automation in applications where great sophistication is not needed and simple tasks like picking up of small parts at one location and placing them at another location can be done with great ease.Another main function of our multi specialty robot is fire security function – Fire Fighting, which is a system of putting together motors, solenoids, and wires, among other important componentsOur Robot is used to extinguish the fire in case of Fire Accidents. Autonomous living and social inclusion of blind and partially sighted people, independent mobility is an important objective to achieveIn this Project, we are going to design a RFID based Assistive system with Ultrasonic sensor to avoid obstacles with the help Microcontrollers under Embedded SystemsIndependent mobility of visual impaired pedestrians is difficult. Generally, to explore the space, sightless people use other senses (i.e. hearing, touch and smell) to compensate their disability. More in details, in familiar settings they learn how to orientate in the spaces by recognizing known features (points of reference). Nevertheless In unknown environments navigation often becomes harder or even dangerous. Besides, in pre-designed environments, wherever indoor or outdoor, orientation may also be achieved by perceiving regularities in the objects around. This Project aims to design and implement a reliable system to assist visually impaired citizens’ independent mobility. The proposed approach foresees to augment the effectiveness and the usability of the aforementioned supports by the exploitation of innovative Information and Communication Technologies hardware and software components. To this extent, wireless technologies (RFID), Obstacle avoidance (Ultrasonic) and specific system and application software are combined togetherIn this Project the user will have a specially designed RFID system, he will have the Passive RFID cards, in which the predefined route values will be stored. For example – If the person wants to go the near shop / super market, the information(s) will be stored in the card. If the user wants to move from A (Home) to B (Shop) values will be stored in Card P. What is PIR…In 1800, Sir William Herschel, conducted an experiment to study the heating effects of sunlight. ANTENNA POSITION CONTROL SYSTEM

Now a day, communication systems are more increasing with growing demands. Particularly wireless communication is widely used to connect long distances. Antennas are the main devices to transmit or receive the signal.The direction of the antenna has to be adjusted according to the direction of propagation. Manually we can adjust the direction of antenna but it is tedious job, as we cannot check the signal because the system will be at different place. So we need a second person to check the Manual method. For the household purpose, manual method can be used because of small size antennas and also small distance from antenna to the system. Bigger antennas are used for satellite communication and other applications. Whenever the signal strength is reduced or absent of signal makes the controlling unit active and thus it searches the entire direction to get the maximum signal and there it fixes the antenna in that particular direction so that the exact line of sight is maintained. In this project we are using stepper motor to change the antenna direction, driven by micro controller. The controller generates the step sequence using firmware.  Here the two antennas are used to search for the signal to minimize the searching time as well as absence of the signal, which may lead to the cancellation of transmission.  So that the antenna position system is able to avoid the manual antenna positioning.

Automated Car (vehicle) Parking System

ABOUT THE PROJECTAn Embedded Micro controller kit with gate model will be available. First the vehicle, the Car / Vehicle will come, the Car / Vehicle will have an IR Sensor. Another IR Sensor will be in the gate. So now the Kit identifies that a vehicle has come. The number of maximum available car / Vehicle parking space will be defined and pre programmed in the embedded Micro controller kit, for example, lets say – 6 numbers. Assume, if already 3 Cars / Vehicles are parked there, so it will compare – Existing 3 Cars / Vehicles plus one new car, 4th Space. It will be compared with the maximum number of available space, 4 < 6, so it will display the message in the LCD “You have a Parking Space Available”. There will be a gate for Entry / Exit point for the car / Vehicle. Once after the message is displayed, the LCD will display the IN TIME, of the VehicleIf the parking space is full, it will calculate the space availability and display the message “Parking Space – Full, Please Wait”There will be Numeric keypad and the user has to enter / select the vehicle type, for ex – 1 for Car, 2 for Van, etc., so now the LCD will display the Rates for the Vehicle types automatically in the LCD Screen, for ex - 1 for Car – Rs.20 / Per Hour, 2 for Van – Rs.30 / Per Hour. Once the user selects the option, it will display the ID Number and amount paid. Tariff charges can be payment-based using Debit or dedicated cardAt the Exit gate, OUT TIME, will be displayed and the In time and Out time difference will be automatically calculated and based on the time difference, let say – if it is less than one hour, it will open the gate. The transaction processing component of some systems is referred to as a "Customer Service Center".A Violation checker is useful in reducing unpaid tolls as well as check the correctness of the vehicle.In this the most advanced project, we are implementing the fully automatic gate control system, which will recognize a vehicle, proceed towards the gate by using active RF ID system from a distance as far as 100 feet. The vehicle transmits digital data ID to the base unit upon the receipt of request signal from the base station. The highly secured 32 bit RF ID data is transmitted and received using Manchester RF protocol. The project consists of two active RF tag, a stepper motor will act as gate opener / closer. A relay output is also provided to drive a siren. Once the RF tag is not authorized it will automatically close the gate

Even when the patient is in an unconscious condition, all the parameters will be sensed and doctor will be cautioned, thus it reduces doctor’s workload and also gives more accurate results. Our project is a working model which incorporates sensors to measure all these parameters like body temperature, Respiratory Temp, Saline Status, ECG and Heart Beat rate and transfer it to the computer, so that the patient condition can be analyzed to by doctors in any part of the hospital wherever they are. Thus it reduces doctors work load and also gives more accurate results, wherever there is an abnormality felt by the patient, we have also incorporated saline monitoring system which gives an alarm when the saline bottle about to empty.

COCKPIT WHITEBOX

Existing System: The Black BoxThe Black Box in the cockpit is only been elemental in recording the audio part, happening in cockpit and apparently the control station at the ATC obtains the deferred data as explained by Pilot and thus there is no automated system to obtain the instantaneous reports happening there. Moreover if the Pilot the asks for the replay of the process that had gone through, in his past-journey span while on-board and still at traveling, its not possible for the Base Station to relay the Replay of the information.
Proposed System:Here we propose a system of automated information to be available to the Base, and also the instantaneous Relay of the Alert Levels and the Replay of the course of journey, the pilot had covered till the time back to him.
Implementation:We split the project into 3 parts:1. The Pilot’s side.2. The External Hardware implementation.3. The Control Base at ATC.
The Pilot-Side:It consists of the interfaced software so as the Pilot to interact with the system and the Sensors to give the details of the Speed, Flight-Level, and the Global Co-ordinates. It also consists of an internal system to define its Call Sign (the name of the Flight) and the Unique Code for authentication of the Flight. All the above details are sent to the Base-Station by Position implementation.The External Hardware Implementation:Its consists of the Transceiver(a Transmitter-Receiver pair) employed at both the Pilot and the Control Base side, the RS232C serial port, to read the received information, and an Embedded Microcontroller to convert the RS232C signal into CPU commands.
The Control Base at ATC:Consists of the User Interface, The Database, The Read-File, and The Static Map File. Here it accumulates all the incoming informations from the Microcontroller, and Stores it into the database. It the then updates the User-Interface and simultaneously the Static Map, by mapping the Co-ordinates and other Dynamic Details into the Static Map. The whole process is converted into a Read file, that contains all the Dynamic and Static Parameters. Any Replay request from the pilot or the Alert Levels is taken into account and Relayed to the Pilot taken from the Read-File. The Sampling Rate is expected to be 0.33samples/sec, which makes it that we have a sample in every 3 seconds.

When that finger is put on the sensor that particular machine alone starts working. Again when the same finger is put on the sensor the same equipment goes off. Same way 5 or more equipments can be controlled individually. Thus no stranger, or unauthorized persons can handle that equipment though it is kept in front of everybody. This is again 100% foolproof. Any change has to be done can be done only with the knowledge / permission of the system administrator. Any number of individuals can be added to the database & also the administrator can deny anybody any time.All communications & status of the operation of the equipment is available on the system monitor for general information. ON time, OFF time & duration of ON or OFF time if needed can be stored for further reference.

On most modern ATMs, the customer identifies him or herself by inserting a plastic card with a magnetic stripe or a plastic smart card with a chip, that contains his or her card number and some security information, such as an expiration date or CVC (CVV). The customer then verifies their identity by entering a passcode, often referred to as a PIN (Personal Identification Number) of four or more digits. Upon successful entry of the PIN, the customer may perform a transaction. After the transaction is complete, a transaction record is printed, usually consisting of the action taken, date and time, location, any applicable fees, and available balance.If the number is entered incorrectly several times in a row (usually three attempts per card insertion), some ATMs will attempt to retain the card as a security precaution to prevent an unauthorized user from discovering the PIN by guesswork. Captured cards are often destroyed if the ATM owner is not the card issuing bank, as non-customer's identities cannot be reliably confirmed. In some cases, a transaction may be performed at the ATM that allows the customer's PIN to be changed securelyIn our Project, we are going to design Computer based Finger Print enabled ATM System – Design & Implementation. We are going to have a Finger Print scanner, which will register the Customers details & Customers ATM Details. To access the ATM, the Customer will scan his / her finger, if it matches, then his / her details will be displayed in the Computer like the Balance Amount the user have in his / her account. Once the details displayed the user can enter the amount, which he / she needs to withdraw, the amount will be automatically detected from the total balance and the final balance will be displayed. Similarly if the finger print not matches, then it will given alarm. If the user is not registered, it will show the message that, you are not the authorized user to access the ATM

GUARD ALERT SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIES WITH PATROLLING FEATURES

Security System plays a vital role nowadays.  It has become necessary for every individual in our society, because today in newspapers, we are reading only about the robberies and Dacoits.  There may be a lot of reason for this.  But some of the reason may be due to the carelessness of the security guard who is in duty.  May be he got asleep, and during that time a thief may enter the area.  So if we can make the security to be alert all the times in his duty, we can avoid these situations.This will be very useful is to the society when implemented. This System, which we have designed, is used to supervise the security guards and night Watchmen. This ensures whether he is sincere and correct in his duty or not.  When he is not alert, our project will inform the owner by activating an alarm.Our System will first gives an visual and audio indication to the security for equal or Random intervals say about 2 – 90 minutes duration, who has to press the button immediately when noticing it.  He will be given a grace time to do that.  If he is not done, then our system will record this event in the systems Memory with complete details.  Later on our system has an option to view all these details in a report format.Also we have an option called LAPSE Alarm whose output can be connected to a hooter when the security has not responded two or more times.  This can be a indication to the Owner also.
PATROLLING:This is an extended feature of our project.  Here we can arrange the buttons in different areas of the building.  Once he gets the alert indication immediately he has to press all the Switches which is in different areas.  This makes the security guard to surveillance the entire area.

Prepaid Electricity Billing Automation Card & Reader

A ELECTRICITY SYSTEM HAS THE FOLLOWING MAJOR COMPONENTS DIGITAL METER The digital meter replaces the consumer’s conventional meter and contains a Microcontroller to enable communication. The meter housing also includes an automatic disconnect switch that opens or closes as the meter depletes or recharges the energy credits, respectively. CONSUMER INTERFACE UNIT The CIU is a small panel with a LCD that enables the consumer to monitor consumption and add kilowatt-hour (KWh) credit to their meter MICROCONTROLLER BASED CONTROL LOGIC The meter is designed using a microcontroller which reads the card, computes the net credit energy, updates the LCD display, activates the various alarms like 25% net credit and load-off indications, controls the relay on-off for load connection/disconnection. ALARMS AND DISPLAY The control logic computes the net energy credit and updates the LCD display. It indicates 25% net credit alarm after 75% energy is consumed. It also gives a load-off indication after the net credit is zero LOAD CONTROLLER This is a latching relay which connects/disconnects the power supply to the load. This is activated by the microcontroller. WHAT IS PREPAID SERVICE Prepaid refers to services paid for in advance. Pre-paid opens up a whole new world of utilities and communication to people who never before had access to these things. Some examples include preloaded debit cards, and prepaid mobile phones. Prepaid services and goods are sometimes targeted to marginal customers by retailers. Prepaid options can have substantial cost reductions over postpaid counterparts because they allow customers to monitor and budget usage in advance ABOUT THE PROJECT The pre-paid meter will be installed in the house. The supply from the utility comes to the meter terminals, similar to a conventional meter. The load is connected to the meter through a latching relay that is provided inside the meter. The user has to buy the prepaid cards or dedicated cared from the local store or via the Internet The user has to decide how much they want to buy like Rs.100, Rs.250, Rs.500 and Rs.1000, whatever amount. The prepaid cards will be programmed for the required number of amount. The card is shown before the card reader that reads the card. The net energy credit is displayed on the LCD display. The relay connects the supply to the load. The energy consumed is continuously measured and the display is updated accordingly to display the net credit available. After 75% of the credit energy is consumed, the 25% alarm LED lights up. From this point, the meter is ready to accept a new card to append the credit. When the credit becomes zero, and the credit energy is still not renewed, the relay switches off supply to the load. After the meter accepts a fresh credit, it will restore supply to the consumer In this Special meter, we have the Option Switch, the user has to press the Switch if he or she wants to recharge from the EB office like easy recharge and the data will be updated in the user side The Voltage will be displayed in the LCD of the meter. ABOUT THE PROJECT Our aim of the project is to protect the data from the ensnares. The proposed system is generally used in security systems specifically for border or defense or military security applications.In such circumstances, generally the Military Chief do not have a flexible communication system as well as they aren’t supposed to have voice enabled communication systems. The base station is elsewhere wherein all the efficient communication methods are available and prevailing. But at the borders, a single room or communication environment isn’t available. In such a scenario, we need an efficient communication strategy with utmost secure mechanism. There exists lot of encryption – decryption algorithms prevailing already, but every such algorithm has certain flaws either facing a threat in the communication channel or the methodology of transmission or the bandwidth.To accomplish this, we have used a PC as a sender and microcontroller as a receiver station. The message to be sent is fed in to the computer for different units. The computer will Encrypt the data using generating a duplicate Character for a real one.The message to be sent is fed in to the computer for different units. The computer will encode the data using PSEUDO RANDOM BINARY SEQUENCE by generating a 7-bit access code for each units and the code will be sent along with the mixed data of other unit’s message alsoAt the receiving end the key is accessed and entered and then the microcontroller will then decode the Received data and separates the data for different units and displays the message on the display. The communication takes place through RS232 Port, using RF frequency transmitters and receivers To ensure the security level at the receiving end we have a password protection.  Once the Message is received the unit will give an alarm message so that one can know that the message has arrived.  Then he must enter the password through the keypad.  If the password matches then he is allowed to view the dataTo Ensure or to draw the attention of the Units this unit also contains an alarming unit to indicate the message has been received from the Central unit. For demonstration, the project has a provision to see the encoded data as a text file in a computer 
ENCRYPTION AND DECRYPTION PROCESSIn our project the Encryption and Decryption Technique is done by Transfering  PSEUDO NOISE signals instead of Actual data.  One the Receiver side also the Noise signals received are then converted to real data.  Let us know what is PN (PSEUDO NOISE ) Sequence and how it is generated.

By using this technology any missing vehicle or on service vehicle can be monitored instantly. A computer monitor will display the real location on VB software. This project can be used for Transport Company, VIP and military applications. An embedded active tracking generator is equipped with the vehicle, which will transmit its data to the nearest tower (GSM / CDMA in real application.) The received data ID is registered in the tower. A microcontroller is used to process this information. The received information is then re-transmitted to the all other tower with the tower ID. So any tower receive these information will have the vehicle data and the tower ID. The base unit, which monitors these data, can recognize the vehicles position, under which tower and area. The RF data receiver in the base unit feed the received data to a MCU. The data from the receiver is in serial form, which is converted in to parallel format with a dedicated IC and feed to the MCU, these MCU decodes the information. The output TX port of the IC is feed to a PC through RS 232 converter. A VB based display will show the vehicle position and other details. When the vehicle enter to the other tower area the base unit also will show the tower no and area. The project has 3-tower model and a vehicle model.
