Starting our journey under the able guidance of Mr. Avinash S. Bendre, an electrical engineer by profession and having over 47 years of experience in the field of electric motors. Further he is also a part of national committees (ISI) for standardization of rotating machine.
The technical blend between modern technology and age old experience helps us in providing our clients with complete solutions for all their motor related problems. Further it has also helped us to make our products more customer specific, durable and completely indispensable for our clients, meeting their varied application requirements regarding machine tools, chemical industries, air handling systems, winding machines, conveyors etc. |

Brake Motors
We offer all types of brake motors that can be put to various industrial uses and come in up to 15 kw in various rpm. These motors have a suitable brake unit mounted on the non-driving cover. In TEFC motors; these units are mounted between the end cover and fan inside the fan cover. Unless specific type of brake unit is required by the customers, the motors are supplied with AC or DC fail-safe type of brake units. On demand, we also provide a manual release to facilitate easy using.

Heavy Duty Motors
Our company has recently launched their range of unbalanced motors, which find application in screens, feeders, vibratory table, bin vibrators, compactors etc. These machines are widely used in power stations, mining steel, fertilizer plants, sugar mills etc.

- Heavy duty machines having vibratory forces up to 70000 newton in 3000, 1500, 1000 RPM.
- Enclosed with IP 55 and IP 65 protection and sturdy design.

Geared Motors
Being pioneers in production of motors, we also have the capability to manufacture a wide variety of geared motors using a specially procured gear box for obtaining different gear ratios. We provide both foot and flange mounted gearboxes, which can be customized according to the specifications given by our clients. For correct selection of gearbox, ordering information must include the following:

- Out put shaft extension.

Torque Motors
We have introduced a series of special motors known as Torque Motors. They are different from the the normal induction motors, as these motors have a torque speed characteristic, which is nearly linear, which means from the stand still stage to the full RPM, the available torque reduces almost linearly. This characteristic makes it patently suitable in applications where the speed is required to reduce with the increase in load.
Torque motors are also designed to work continuously under locked rotor conditions and thus find applications in machine tools for indexing and clamping and in lifts for door closing mechanism etc. They are generally rated on the basis of locked rotor torque in Kgm or Kgcm. Depending on the application and the range of speed required the motors are totally enclosed fan cooled or totally enclosed surface cooled.
Range:
- Nagpur Motors has range of 3-phase Torque Motors from 6 Kgcm to 90 Kgcm.
- Single-phase motors from 1 Kgcm to 15Kgcm are available from our group concern M/s. SAM Electrical Industries.
