Nanni's most wonderful designs are almost always reserved for
celebrations that demand formal wear - weddings, engagements, special
parties, festivities -that our life is frequently dotted with. While we
also design traditional Western-style wedding gowns (with trains and
headwear !), designer wedding sarees, wedding lehenga cholis, wedding
party dresses, we often dip into the rich Asian history of exquisite
garments and draw our inspiration from the beautiful, jewel-like outfits
worn in Rajput and Moghul Courts, by Indian Royalty, and more recently,
by actors in the period Indian movies.
Nanni's specializes in designing the bride's trousseau, with separate
garments for each function in the wedding, co-ordinated garments for the
bride and the groom, as well as those for the immediate relatives of the
bride or groom, especially if it is a 'designer' wedding! We get
completely involved in such a project and work on it as if it is a
wedding in our own family! The rich wedding outfits we create, have
often been treated as heirlooms themselves by our clients. .

We have nurtured and developed a special understanding with most of our
clients for feedback on our products, on whether we should open more
museums, have more design and textile festivals to expose India's
wondrous textile and garment-making industry to the world. We have
inquiries on our fabrics especially from UK, USA, China, Japan and, now,
a few Asian countries too.

Each and every Nanni's outfit and ensemble is individually fitted to
offer you the most flattering front and profile views. We do not have a
pret line nor work with fit-all designs. Our designers will guide you to
select colours, fabric and embroidery that will highlight your strong
physical attributes and hide the problem areas. You can be sure that in
