| ProductsBucket Elevator Link Chains & U Links / Chain Bows National Engineering Works manufactures High Tensile Gr. 80 Calibrated Round Link Chains ( IS 6216:1982 ) for Bucket Elevators. These chains are specially double depth case hardened to withstand continuous corrosion owing to handling of abrasive particles . High tensile round link chains for bucket elevator (as per DIN 764/ DIN 766 & IS 3948:1986 ) are manufactured from premium grade refined Ni-Cr-Mo Alloy and Mn Alloy Steel. These chains are gas carburized to a case depth of 0.02 mm ensuring uniform surface hardness and double quenched and tempered and core refined to achieve surface hardness of 57 – 60 HRC. These Chain Links are homogenously heat-treated in the interlink areas to achieve proof strength of almost 100 N/mm² . These highly wear and abrasion resistant Chains are calibrated and supplied in matched pairs maintaining accurate dimensional tolerances and occasionally smeared with protective coating for anticorrosion resistance . Corresponding Chain Bows (U-Links / Bucket Links / Chain Brackets) as per IS 10131:1992 & DIN 745 / DIN 5699 for bucket elevator are manufactured from fine grained carbon steel in close die by drop forging method . The interlink wearing portion at the crown of the shackle is specially heat-treated to a hardness of 55-57 HRC to a case depth of 0. 1 mm . The U Links and Chain Shackles are supplied with carbon steel distance plate, hex nuts and spring washers. Collars, interlink area and threads are snipped off any burrs and thereby precisionly machined with exact leg center . Corresponding highly wear resistant chain wheel and toothed sprocket with surface hardened teeth and groove and through out finely machined can also be manufactured . Elevator Lifting Chain & Short Link Chain National engineering works manufactures high tensile alloy steel calibrated round link chains ( up to 50 mm dia) for bucket elevators (is 6216:1982 & is 3948:1986) and scraper conveyors . Drop Forged Drag Chain Links National engineering works manufactures a wide assortment of drop forged forked chain links (102 – 216 mm pitch) for transportation of abrasive material in hot working condition. Mostly incorporated in application like heavy-duty drag chain conveyors, wet scrapers, boiler feeders, ash handling conveyors, esp dust conveyors, en-masse conveyors, reclaimer & intermediate carriers etc, the chain links are manufactured from age resistant fine grained heat treatable alloy steel and stainless steel, heat treated to surface hardness more than 550 hv having breaking strength up to 600 n/ sq mm.
