CCE Entire Range: We also undertake Crane Repairs & Refurbishment at Site. Electro Hydraulic Thrustor Brakes: CCE Mill Duty Thrustor Brakes are suitable for 400/440 Volts, 3 phase A.C. Supply for a wide range of drum sizes from 100 mm to 600 mm diameter. The Braking pressure to the Shoes is transmitted from the springs by means of an extremely rigid and simple level / tie rod mechanism. Release of the Brake Shoe is effected by energizing the 3 phase Thrustor which over comes the spring force and the Shoes are moved clear off the Drum by level / arm linkage system so that the Drum is free to rotate without any friction. The angle of the Brake Shoe being 90 degree makes the replacement and maintenance of the Brake Shoes easy at site. Also wearing of lining is much less than conventional Brakes. CCE Thrustor which forms part of the Brake is a self contained unit and comprises of a centrifugal pump and impeller driven by an Electric Motor. The impeller spins in oil and envelops a pressure head which is impressed upon the piston which is directly coupled to the load lifted.
CCE-EM Brakes are suitable for AC Supply upto 400 to 440 volts and are available for a wide range of Drum sizes from 100 mm to 380 mm diameter. These Brakes are available with a rated torque ranging from 200 kg. cm for the smallest Brake (100 mm diameter) upto 6900 kg cm for a 380 mm diameter at 0% coil rating i.e. the coil remains in circuit for a maximum of 5 minimum out of every 10 min. These brakes are conventionally termed as single phase EM brakes although they are to be operated on 2 phase. 3 Phase brakes are also available where a higher torque is desired. When specified, Brake Drum or Brake Drum coupling both PIN BUSH type and FLEXIBLE GEARED type can be supplied along with the Brakes. Rotary Geared Limit Switch: CCE Rotary gear type limit switches are sued on control / Power circuit or reversing drives so as to limit their rotation/movement within a predetermined position. The function of the Limit Switch is to stop the mechanism of drive at the extreme forward / reverse positions. These Limit Switches are particularly suited for use on reversing drives such as hoist, winches, rolling mills and various other mechanisms used in steel plant such as coke ovens, teeding machinery, valve drives etc. The contacts of CCE Limit Switches are 40 amps rated at 500 volts A.C. The Limit Switch can be provided with 2 NC contracts or 4 NC contacts or (2 NO + 2 NC) contacts as per the requirement. The geared type Rotary Limit Switch basically consists of heavy duty worm gear drive with a ratio of 48 : 1 or (60). Lever Limit Switch: CCE-Lever Limit Switches are used for heavy duty E.O.T. Crane, Wagon Shunting devices etc. to prevent over travel or over traverse on power and control circuit upto 500 V.A.C. 50 cycles / second and 40 amps current rating. CCE- Limit Switch normally remains closed and cuts off power to stop the motor of the crane. The Limit Switch operates when if reaches a predetermined position when the lever is moved over projecting member fixed on the girder. Resistance Boxes: Resistors are designed to meet requirements for both A.C. & D.C. Application for E.O.T. Cranes, Winches, Rubber Mills, Steel Mills, Coal Mines, Cement Mills, Power Plants etc. for speed control and developing starting torque. The specification complys with BSS 587 : 1957. The basic types are Stainless steel and Punched steel. Resistance boxes are suitable for max. temperature rise of 375 "C as stipulated in BSS standards. |
