Continuous coiler is used to get the non-stop production in a wire drawing plant. This machine can be fitted just adjacent to the final block of the wire drawing plant. Wire end from the final block is taken to the continuous coiler. This machine has a stationary block on which is cast in the form of a dead coil. Thus continuous coiler unwinds the wire from immediately preceding block to give a dead cast coil. The coil can be cut to any desired size and taken out for further production without stopping the machine, which results in higher production.

Mechanical De-Scaler is used to remove the scales, from wire rod before it passes through the first die. It is placed between flipping type pay-off device and first block of Wire Drawing.

Basically, mechanical de-scaling is achieved by flexing the rod over pulleys to break loose and remove the high temperature scale on the rod.

Three horizontal and three vertical pulleys are given to flex the wire rod and to remove the scales from the same.

These pulleys are made of high quality alloy steel duly hardened for longer life and they run on standard size ball bearing for smooth operation.

PB-700A Polishing Barrel is having automatic cycle for polishing and dust removal. The machine is having a loading capacity of 700Kgs. It is equipped with three-stage dust collection system. After the polishing cycle is over, dust collector sucks the dust from the barrel. While collecting the dust, it also separates the Nail chips, Heavy dust particles and Fine dust particles leaving only clean and polished nails in the barrel. All these separated particles go in their respective bins for easy disposal thus making your plant even more environment friendly. The Fine dust particle collection is having filter of 15 micron to ensure that no dust particle bigger than 15 micron is discharged in the atmosphere. This is very important for environmental safety. The discharge of nail is located at 780mm above the floor level to conveniently unload the nails in large bins. The PB-700A has only three Push Buttons making operation, user friendly. The operation is as easy as pressing a single button “START” and rest of the chorus are done automatically in cycle. The Machine stops after the cycle is completed thus by leaving the operator free to handle other important work. Even with this simplicity the PB-700A’s flexibility is not compromised, operator can set the polishing time and dust collecting time according to individual plant’s need and the quality of polish required.

Before the wire is pushed through the die hole of wire drawing machine, to enter the wire in the die it should be pointed at starting end, so that it can pass through the die hole easily. The pointed end of the wire is then pulled by means of pull-in tong in order to draw it.

Wire pointing machine is used to point starting end of wire. It has two rollers having different sizes of grooves on their periphery. As the machine starts, rollers rotate in opposite direction of each other. End of the wire to be pointed is pushed between the two rollers which tend to point the wire.

Rollers are made out of high quality alloy steel and are duly hardened and ground to give longer working life.
