Since inception, M K Woodcraft based at Kolkata, India is engaged in manufacturing and exporting an exclusive range of Printed, Woven, Embroidered Home Textiles and Fashion Accessories like Stoles, Shawls and Scarves. Moreover, we also meet the requirements of fabrics for Garments and Home furnishings. Our expertise also allows us to provide different printing styles in the fabrics and textiles such as Printed (Screen and Block), Embroidered (Aari, Zardozi and kantha) and Woven (Jacquard, Brocade).

Our organization was established with the thought of reviving the diminishing skills in textiles especially in West Bengal like block printing, hand weaving and embroidery such as Kantha, Aari and Zardozi. So to bring in new dimension to our creations and to provide work opportunities to skilled artisans, keeping in mind the ever changing demands of the market trends, we took the initiative. We trained our artisans into all the possible printing techniques, which can be used into textiles both with the hand made as well as with the machines.

We focus towards the development of the skilled artisans in West Bengal as it is a hub of various talents right from weaving, printing and embroidery and aims to revive the diminishing skills of these people in the rural segment. We provide both women and men equal work and employment opportunities. Presently our range caters to the needs of numerous clients based at Europe, USA, Middle East, Thailand, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

We are guided by our mentor Mr. Sandeep Kankaria, who has helped us in achieving our goal of total client satisfaction by one eclusive and quality products. Under his leadership, our organization has grown leaps and bound and fulfilled the social responsibility towards society.

These are designed using both handloom and powerloom fabrics such as cotton (normal and organic), bamboo, jute, mulberry silk, tassar silk, dupion silk, tabi silk chiffon, georgettes, synthetic and blended fabrics. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure includes a manufacturing unit, quality control department, research and development unit and warehouse and packaging department.
