About UsThe Natwarlal Group was founded in the year 1935 at Ahmedabad by the late Shamaldas H. Worah, father of Shri Natwarlal S. Worah, the present President. The Group activities were launched with Mining, Trading and Distribution of coal. The Group is one of the leading suppliers / dealers / distributors of coal throughout India. Shri Natwarlal S. Worah brought the business to Bombay in 1941. From then onwards there was no looking back. The group opened branches at Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Chandrapur and Wani within the next few years. The group has been catering to the needs of Textile, Power Generation Industry, Engineering Units, Paper and Sugar Mills, etc. During early 1950?s Shri Natwarlal S. Worah saw the rise in demand of Manganese Ore and Iron Ore the world over. He lost no time in developing resources from various production centres in India and organizing facilities at different Ports of India and established a powerful export base. He traveled to various consuming countries around the globe and soon became one of the prominent exporters of Ores from India. Some of our associates and buyers were Golodetz & Co., U.S.A, Associated Trading company, U.S.A., Government Ore import companies of Czechoslovakia, Poland, Romania, etc. Mitsui & Co. Japan, Sumitomo & Co. Japan, Kinsho Mataichi & Co., Japan, etc. Incidentally we were the pioneer exporter of Manganese Ore to Egypt. The reputation of the company as suppliers of quality material helped them in producing good quality Steel. |
