| Electrochemical Cleaners Pre-cleaning either by solvent emulsion degreaser or heavy duty soak cleaners are employed to remove heavy accumulation of soils such as oils, greases, buffing compounds and drawing lubricants by immersion or by spray. Pre-cleaning does not remove 100% of the soil to leave a water-break-free surface, and it is therefore essential for further cleaning with alkaline soak and electrolytic cleaners. - Aqueous Neutral Cleaner Aqueous neutral cleaners are suitable for removing polishing compounds, heavy soils from most metals.
- Alkaline Soak Cleaner Alkaline soak cleaner rapidly wets metal surfaces and displaces oil, greases and shop oils from ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
- Alkaline Electro Cleaner Heavy-duty Alkaline Electro Cleaners with chelating action. It rapidly removes smut, light rust, finger prints and soil from steel. Its superior cleaning characteristics leave the steel surface bright and completely free of contamination.
- Alkaline De-ruster Alkaline derusting is the removal of metallic oxides, primarily from iron alloys. Red rust is removed by immersion, whereas black oxides generally require the use of electric current. Electrolytic alkaline derusting is very effective for the removal of smuts and residues of acid pickling
- Spray Cleaner Powdered alkaline heavy duty-spray cleaner for cleaning steel, copper, copper alloys and cast iron. Low foaming economical spray cleaner for removal of oil, dirt and soil.

Pickling Agents Acid pickling additives are used in conjunction with acid solution for effective removal of rust scale, silicate films etc; before metal finishing/electroplating. Different classes of additives are available depending upon specific requirements, such as accelerators, inhibitors, fume reducer, silicate and heat scale eliminators. - Gictane Inhibitor 11 An economical process, which in conjunction with sulphuric or hydrochloric acid inhibits on most steels including some hi-carbon steels. Also prevents deposition of copper on steel by immersion from acid pickles.
- Gictane 70 Powdered, acidic, fluoride useful in acid pickle of metals. Due to the fact that it is a granular solid, it is much less hazardous to handle than liquid Hydrofluoric acid.
- Gictane 73 Easy to handle powdered product used in place of mineral acid solution for activating metal surfaces prior to plating. It is also used for removal of silicate and oxide films from most metals and facilitates excellent adhesion of subsequent electrodeposits.
- Gictane 85 A dry acid salt when added to water, activates a variety of metals, removes light scales and oxides. Recommended for nickel on nickel plating.
- Gictane AAA Used in sulphuric, phosphoric, hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acid pickles to reduce fuming. Increases surface wetting to promote better pickling. Also prevents re-deposition of oil.
- Pickle Aid Accelerator Unique salt used with sulphuric acid pickles to accelerate the removal of hard scales produced from carborising, case hardening and general heat treatment of iron and steel.
- Gictane Inhibitor 12 Most efficient Hydrochloric acid corrosion inhibitor; specially designed to protect the steel during de-rusting operations.
