NCBA. New Central Book Agency Private Limited. The largest vertically integrated STM publishing group of eastern India with the fastest growing marketing network across the Afro-Asian countries. NCBA started its operations way back in 1921. During the initial years, it imported in bulk the publications of reputed British and American publishers. This marked a formidable overseas business connection of the Company. It took twenty years for the Company to establish itself as one of the leading publishers of textbooks in the then undivided Bengal. During the early forties when the Indian publishing was at its infancy and when the Indian medical book market depended solely on imported books, NCBA ventured into the publication of advanced level texts in Anatomy, Physiology, Surgery, and Medicine. Today NCBA, has its own fully computerized typesetting, web printing, and automatic binding procedure facilitating swift and massive production operations. NCBA is going to participate in the Frankfurt Book Fair where, this year, India is the guest-of-honour country. This mega event of books, will take place on 4th - 7th of October, 2006.
