Chemical Resistance	PTFE Coating is unaffected by almost all chemical solvents except fluorinating agents and alkali metals.
Low co-efficient of friction	Coefficient of friction of PTFE Coating is very low, thereby it is self-lubricating.
Non-stick	PTFE Coating has unique non-stick property. Few solid substances can permanently adhere to PTFE Coating.
Non-wetting	PTFE Coating can be easily cleaned and doesn't get wet readily.
Heat Resistance	Good Heat Resistance. No decomposition below 250°C. It can withstand temp. of -60 to 260°C.
Electrical Properties	PTFE Coating can withstand different frequencies as it has high dielectric strength, surface resistivity.
Abrasion Resistant	PTFE Coating is highly abrasion resistant.

This Coating & Lining on Pipes, Pipe Fittings, T joints, Elbows, Reducers, reduces corrossion by chemicals cfeating thickness from 0.8 to 3 mm. 0.8 to 1mm coating thickness given on Agitators Impellers for avoiding Corrosion by chemicals. 0.8 to 1mm coating / linlng given on Reaction vessels, Tanks, Jacketted vessels & its fittings. For corrosion & chemicals resistance like, acids / alkalies etc. 1mm to 3mm lining given on vessels / Tanks, Agiators, impalers for highly corrosive chemicals Acidsand Alkalis.

PTFE / Teflon coating on Thin diaphragms are used idiaphragms valves to avoid corrisson by chemicals in chemical Industry.Coating on sensors is given protect from acids and alkalies in chemical industry.

Thermowels are also coated with Teflon / PTFE to avoid corrosion by chemicals & its fumes. Otherwise Hastalloy like costly material has to be used to avoid corrosion.
