Construction

The 11KV/22KV/33KV Load break switches are manufactured suitable for mounting on a panel. The panels are manufactured as per IS for Indoor or Outdoor application and as per customer requirement. The load break switches are manufactured in two types PCESAIR and PCESCOM.

PCESCOM switch comprises of three pole bodies attached to main switch by means of cast resin supporting insulators as the supporters of the LBS live parts. The top insulators carry the fixed tulip contacts with the upper main terminals. In the middle of the tulip contact there is a quick-break contact pin – fixed arcing contact. The bottom insulators carry the contact housing with other terminals.

The contact tube serving for the connection of the bottom main terminal with tulip contact is installed in the bottom pole assembly. The arcing contact in the middle of the main contact tube is flexibly joined to the piston for compressing the air. The contact tube moves via insulating arms attached on the shaft. The adjustable driving lever and toggle spring mechanism are attached on the shaft.

Parallel to the main current path (upper contact-contact tube-contact roller-contact housing) the auxiliary current path is made up of quick break contact pin, quick break contact and arcing contact.

We offer our clients wide range of ring main unit (RMU) that are used for H.T.side. Our range is offered with 3 numbers of switches (Circuit Breakers or Isolators or LBS). These are widely used for two inputs with mechanical or electrical interlock and also provided with one outgoing to ensure heavy load bearing capacity. Further our range can also be offered with one input with two outgoings. These are also used for redundancy feeder purposes.
