Arun Shetty was born on 1954, in Honavar, North Kanara, India. His first work was sandalwood Chariots, which was very impressed many people widely, then he become as a master craftsman. His master arts are Samudra Manthana, Ramayana, and Krishna in chariot, sandalwood jewel box and many more, he received state level awards from former Prime Minister H. D. Devegowda for Sandalwood Samudra Manthan carving. Each wooden statue is a masterpiece in own way. And currently running Geetharadha handicrafts at his hometown.
Niga Handicrafts established in 2008. In order to expand the business and meet customer requirement at rich level. It is running by two entrepreneurs, Mr. Nagesh Prabhu and Mr. Nitesh Shetty son of Mr Arun Shetty. It is a Subsidiary of Geetharadha handicrafts, which was established in the year 1980.
