Nikum make Center rotating type triple Pole outdoor on load disconnecting switches for higher line current breaking capacity for line Isolators. The isolators are having a fixed and moving contacts made of HDHC. Copper and die forged fingers of phosphorus bronze having inherent non deteriorating spring qualityat high temperature and corrosion proof.

The assembly of fixed and moving contains is based on self compensating princile, to withstand both thermal and dynamic stresses of short circuit current and still carry the continuous rated current with plenty of margin under the maximum specified temperature. All ferrous parts are hot dipped galvanized and non ferrous parts are heavily tin platted to provide protection against corrosion, contacts for higher current rating are silver platted.
Earth switch can be easily installed on each pole at either end and interlocked mechanically with the main switch. the auxiliary switches can be provided for man as well as for earth switch. Electrical interlock can be provided, Electrical moter drive mechanism complete with reduction gear and torque limiting safety features can also be provided. Isolators are manufacturers in normal and solid core post insulators range covering from 6.6KV to 220KV.

There are two option in the breaker to connect the capacitor bank to line automatically or manual or control to a.p.f. c. Relay, according to load pattern, the design of breaker is maintenance free, easy operation,

the automatic breaker are design for that industries they require multy operation /switching for capacitors bank connect and disconnect to the h.t. line .the h.t. breaker provides not only reactive power compensation at overload current, but also prevents over-voltage problem at the receiving end during low load condition by switching on and off the capacitor bank in the circuit respectively. automatic switching on or off the capacitors bank whenever the load current exceeds a re-set value, the setting of load current is adjustable up to 2oo amp. continuously.

In the event of line current exceeding a certain specified limit, the c.t. mounted on ryb phase operates through the control unit and closing command is given to the closing solenoid which close the interrupter, thereby connecting the capacitor bank in the circuit and thus improving the power factor. When line current is reduced, to a specified value control, unit gives a tripping command to the trip coil thereby disconnecting the capacitor bank.
