About Us

Our business is centered on providing services to small and medium companies and individual innovators. This focus is reflected in our attention to details, our fast start-to-finish execution, our competitive costs, our ability to offer support all the way to product manufacture, our conversation style, and, equally important, our willingness to be flexible. Also offer reverse engineering solutions, reverse engineering services, CAD services and CAD design services.

We also work with foreign design firms to support them through cost effective India based work, or to support their customers who have Indian operations.

We likewise work with foreign companies to help them develop their products for India markets, or to help them save development costs through cost effective India based work.

Thus all your confidential data or information will be safeguarded, and never released to anyone or used for any purpose not authorized by you. People

Krishna Somashekar (krishna@nipadesign.com) is our principal designer and CEO. Krishna has a technical qualification in tool engineering, and has ten years of experience of product ideation, product design, industrial design, prototyping, and tool design.Over these years, he has acquired skills to use several of the major digital tools and software to model, design, and detail products. So that he is compelled to innovate, he likes to often accept work that requires more than the knowledge, experience and skills he already has.

S K Ladha (skl@nipadesign.com) is his mentor, and works with him to help manage and grow our business. He has worked in the Indian engineering industry for thirty years, and was president of an American engineering company in India in the last position he held. He has studied mechanical engineering at BITS, Pilani (1970) and business management at IIM, Ahmedabad (1972).

Raj Darshi is our product designer. He has studied at NIFT, Bangalore and has a post-graduate degree in industrial design from IIT, Delhi.

Amit Subramanya is our CAD engineer. He has several years of experience in tool design and development, and industrial design.
