We offer galvanized stranded steel wires that are highly acclaimed across various industries. These steel wires are manufactured out of zinc coated galvanized steel wires for earthing of power transmission line as well as guying and supporting of poles.

It consists of three or more wires built up in concentric layers and are stranded together in a manner that when an evenly distributed pull is applied at the end of completed strand each wire takes an equal share of the pull.

We offer superior quality high tensile galvanized steel stranded wire, which are extensively used as overhead ground wire or static wires. All Aluminium Conductor (AAC)

All Aluminium Conductor (AAC)

Aluminium Stranded Conductors (ASC) better known as All Aluminium Conductors (AAC) are manufactured from electrolytically refined (E.C.Grade) aluminium, containing a minimum of 99.5% aluminium by weight. The aluminium used has a minimum conductivity of 61%. AAC conductors are used mainly in urban areas where the spacing between supports is small and thereby the supports are relatively closer to each other.

All Aluminum Conductors are made up of one or more strands of aluminium wire depending on the required current carrying capacity and used specially as bus conductors at sub-stations. AAC conductors are also used extensively in coastal areas because they have a very high degree of corrosion resistance.

Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced

Aluminium Conductors Steel Reinforced (ACSR conductors), as their name suggests, consist of a solid or stranded steel core surrounded by strands of Electrolytic grade aluminium. The steel core imparts high mechanical strength to ACSR conductors, which are therefore suitable to be used for river crossings, overhead transmission lines, installations involving extra long spans etc. For any given resistance, ACSR conductors can be manufactured having a wide range of tensile strength as per customer requirements. The principal advantages of these conductors are high tensile strength and high mechanical strength to weight ratio, and therefore they are used for longer spans with fewer supports and lesser sag at a given tension. ACSR is preferred for it’s capacity to withstand extreme wind loads. Due to the greater diameter of ACSR conductors corona losses are low, resulting in substantial savings in high as well as extra high voltage overhead transmission.

Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced

All Aluminium Alloy Conductor (AAAC)

All Aluminium Alloy Conductor (AAAC)

All Aluminium Alloy Conductors (AAAC Conductors) are manufactured from an alloy of aluminium with magnesium and silicon. This aluminium alloy 6201 containing Magnesium (0.6 - 0.9 %) & Silicon (0.5 - 0.9%), has high electrical conductivity and when subjected to proper heat treatment has much superior mechanical properties as compared to conventional All Aluminium Conductors (AAC Conductors).

AAAC conductors manufactured out of this aluminium alloy 6201 (minimum conductivity 54%), have a better corrosion resistance and a better strength to weight ratio. On an equal diameter basis AAAC conductors possess higher electrical conductivity than ACSR conductors.

Use of Higher Strength Construction Steel reduces the diameter of Reinforcement Bars without bringing down the strength of the reinforcement.

Economic considerations demand smaller diameter reinforced bars with higher strength.

The solution is achieved by invention of a new type of reinforcement bar, the High Strength Deformed Steel Bar.

High Strength Deformed Steel Bars, (brand : TRICON) conforming to IS : 1786 (1985) of Grade Fe550 corresponding to DIN : 488 & B.S. 4483, are manufactured in 5 mm to 10.45 mm size range using well established technology.

TRICON bars can be used as a general purpose concrete reinforcement in all types of reinforced concrete construction (RCC).

Hot Rolled Products

Hot rolled products refer to products that are uncoated and have been formed at about 860 degrees Celsius at the mill and then reduced while the strip temperature is maintained. Hot Rolled products are either modified in the process for use ?as is? or processed further in the cold reduction process as the base material for future coated products. Hot rolled products are manufactured in five product groups:

The principal types of hot-rolled products that we manufacture are:

1) HR Strips:
Hot-rolled strips offer extensive performance characteristics, versatility and economy, in addition to having dedicated properties for specific applications. We manufacture strips mainly to cater to the ERW Pipe industry. Our strips are also used for general engineering purposes like manufacturing cable supports, etc.

Specifications:
82 mm to 182 mm width; 1.04 mm to 4 mm in thickness.

2) Liners:
Liners are used for protection between two surfaces and for various other purposes. They are used in construction work, chimneys, and also in lining wood stoves, gas or oil furnaces.

Specifications:
T 3738, T 3740, T 3741, T 374.

3) Fish Plate Bars:
Fish plate bars are used in rail construction. We manufacture 10 different designs of fish plate bars catering mainly to the Indian railways. However, we can take up custom made designs for manufacturing as per requirements of the clients.

4) Hot Rolled Flats:
Hot rolled flats are used in automobiles as chassis, bumpers and clutch covers. They are also used for constructing erection beams and for other purposes in consumer durables.

5) Angles:
Steel angles are used for a number of purposes in various industries.

Sponge Iron

Sponge Iron is used as a raw material for making steel in electric arc furnaces and induction furnaces, substituting and supplementing the previously used scrap. It is produced by reducing iron ore without melting it. This makes for an energy-efficient feedstock for steel manufacturing industries which earlier used to rely upon scrap metal. Sponge iron is increasing being used in steel making because of lower availability of scrap in the international market and increased use of electric arc furnaces in steel making. Sponge iron can also be processed further to create wrought iron. In India, there is high demand for sponge iron because of its use in steel production. India is the largest producer of sponge iron in the world today.
