In the early seventies of the last century, a small steel wire manufacturing company started its journey from Kolkata, India, with a vision of making its presence felt in the world of wires.


Despite stiff competition and limited resources, hard labour by dedicated employees along with streamlined operations and transparent business policies have made NIRMAL GROUP OF COMPANIES what it is today, a conglomerate of eight small & medium companies, a leader in its area of operations, with a group turnover touching USD 40 million (INR 1.6 billion)

Steel wire manufacturing is a passion and not just one of the businesses of the NIRMAL GROUP, which also has facilities to manufacture aluminium conductors, welding electrodes, steel structurals, steel pipes and tubes, hot rolled steel strips and sponge iron.
