| Item Code: 304L We are engaged in offering a quality assured range of Austenitic Steel Pipes which h ave 16-26% chromium and 6-20% nickel. The best group is 18/8 ( 18% CR, 8% Ni) stainless steel. When quenched from 1050°C after a short soak at that temperature, these steels are completely austenitic at ordinary temperatures. The ferrite content further improves the quality of welding by reducing the corrosion resistance to some regents. The quenching does not hardens the steels, these can be strengthened by cold working.
