About UsAnjali & Nitin Bhalla, avid art collectors set up Nitanjali Art Gallery eight years ago in their own gallery space at Palam Vihar that also had a working studio space for young artists. Spread over three floors this space now serves as a residency for artists from across the country and is dedicated exclusively to young artists, struggling to find a foothold for themselves and their art in the big metro. Nitanjali moved into its current location at Ansal Plaza in the commercial hub of central Delhi. The third Nitanjali venue is soon to open in yet another central location of the Capital. With its multiple venues, the gallery is run on professional lines. Its policies including selection of the artists, the exhibitions it presents and the art publications it brings out, are determined following a scrutiny and consultations with external advisors. Nitanjali¿s panel of experts includes critics, curators & art historians, besides eminent individuals from the corporate and financial world. The in-house team at Nitanjali includes Mandira Lamba an F.I.T. graduate in Fashion and Merchandising, Hans Bhalla a graduate in International Business and a political activist and Ridhi Bhalla an Oxford University Graduate in Applied Statistics, besides Anjali & Nitin of the Bhalla clan participates actively in the gallery¿s affairs to ensure its efficient management with support from other staff members. |
