A mother usually cleans her child personally, even if she has a servants waiting at her command. The prime reason for that is that offers her a first-hand inspection and helps her correct faults right when they occur.
Our luminaries are checked for dimensions, holes, mounting centers, etc. as per drawings. They are sent for painting only thereafter. Random samples from batches of painted luminaries are checked for scratch hardness, whiteness, gloss etc. On passing this test, the luminaries are taken up for wiring. The ballasts are tested before potting for running current, starting / short-circuit current, insulation resistance and high voltage. After this they are potted with polyester. The starters are tested individiually for performence.
Testing FacilitiesPhew ! Some more test! Well, yes! Each and every product that goes into the market is tested to ensure complete customer satisfaction. I understand we may even sound paranoid, But.
All the ballast and assemled luminaries are checked for satisfactory operation and also subjected to the Routine Tests specified in the Standard specification. Random samples are tested regularly from each production lot for Acceptance tests. Apart from this, each time the design of luminaire or ballast is modified, they are subject to the type tests as per the relevent standard specification. The procedure adopted above not only ensures the quality of our products but provides trouble-free service to the users for the entire life of luminaries. Strict Quality Control is enforced on incoming raw materials and finished products to longer use.
