This Hitachi sewage treatment plants are simple to install and use with no moving parts inside the package unit, maintenance, spares, power demands are also minimum. It is compact sewage treatment plant. The internal controls are adjusted during factory testing and doesn’t require subsequent readjustments.

Some of the exceptional features are as follows:

•  Uses engineered bacteria; developed by the Japanese scientists after extensive research.
• The unit comes in FRP and dosen't need civil work except for the Eq tank.
• It is a modular design and units can be added or deleted as and when required. Reeti Rah resorts at Mal Deeves is one of the examples of this.
• The unit takes 40% lesser space as compared to conventional STP and the FRP tanks can be arranged as per the space availability.
• The unit operates only on a single pump and blower (dosen't need desludging pump) and dosen't need operator bringing the operation cost to very minimum and well below other STPs.
• We can call it 'Install and Forget' type STP.
• The sludge generation is very minimum as the bacteria consumes themselves. It is 10% of what conventional STP would generate.
• There is no odor / smell and noise generation in the unit.

Tannery waste recycle: Operated a unit under AEDOL (Am) Vaniyambadi near chennai. Unit consisted of MBR (Submersed Flat sheet membrane) followed by RO.

Textile waste recycle: Operated a unit at GHCL Vapi.. Consisted of MBR with submersed hollow fibre membrane, followed by RO for a capacity of 150 m3/h.

Domestic Sewage: Operated a unit at Khopoli consisted of MBR with side stream hollow-fibre membranes.
