C.A.F Sheet Gaskets | It basically consists of high grade asbestos fiber intimately bonded with specially selected polymers, providing a high quality sheet jointing material. Our sheets are rated to suit class 150 and 300 applications and are widely used in the petrochemical, automotive and marine industries. Our range includes:
|

PTFE Sheet Gaskets We offer a comprehensive range of PTFE based sheet products, ranging from pure "virgin" PTFE, through to the revolutionary creep resistant PTFE composite material. These are rated to suit class 150 and 300 applications and offers a high integrity, corrosion resistant, non stick sheet product for use where standard sheet material can not be used. Our range includes:
- Pure PTFE Sheet material: these have excellent sealing characteristics to practically all chemical media except molten alkali metals and fluorine processors.
- Glass Reinforced PTFE: A small quantity of glass fibers is inserted lo the PTFE Sheet in order to provide a low creep variant to the pure grade. The glass fiber addition is insignificant in effecting the chemical resistance of the material.
- Permanite Sigma: Sigma, a family of biaxially orientated PTFE sheet sealing material, provides excellent sheet sealing.

Graphite Sheet Gaskets | These are the premier sheet gasket material which are totally non toxic and appreciated for high purity carbon material. Flexicarb sheet gaskets provide, conformable, low seating stress seals, ideal for use on both rough and smooth flanges. Moreover, the self lubricating homogeneous structure, exceptional chemical and temperature resistance ensure long service life, even in the presence of highly corrosive and toxic media. The Low leach able and total chloride content aid makes them more resistant to corrosion. Properties:

Metal Clad Gaskets We offer varied range of metal jacketed gasket which meets the varied sealing requirements of the industry. Metal clad gaskets are manufactured of soft non-asbestos gasket material either partially or totally enveloped in a metallic sheath. Our supplied gaskets have high strength and suitable for use on standard flange assemblies, valves, pumps, heat exchangers and other similar services. Our wide range of metal clad gaskets is:
These gaskets are manufactured of soft, heat resistant filler materiel partially enclosed in a simple, sturdy metal jacket. They are specifically designed for applications in which moderate pressures and temperatures are encountered. The fillet material provides excellent resilience to the gaskets and also compensates for flange imperfections. Our single-jacketed gaskets are suited for narrow faced flanges where only light bolting is required.
The double jacketed gasket is constructed of a soft hear-resistant filler material and is completely enclosed in a two-piece metal jacket. The filler gives the gasket the resilience required for proper sealing while the metal jacket protects the filler and resists pressures, temperatures, and corrosion. They are specifically designed far high pressure and high temperature applications. Our traded double-jacketed gaskets are particularly suited for applications in heat exchangers and boilers where ample bolting is required.

SR Gasket Material Flexicarb SR is a high performance graphite foil bonded to each face of a 0.05 mm (0.002'1) thick 316 stainless steel foil. With high performance adhesive Flexicarb SR retains the excellent sealing characteristics and low seating stress properties of Flexicarb foil. They can be utilized as exact replacements for asbestos based sheet materials in virtually all known applications. As the sealing faces do not contain any additives which will support combustion hence Flexicarb SR is classified as a fire safe material. Properties (of 1.5mm thick material stainless steel reinforcement)
- Density:1 4 g/cm3 45%
- ASTM Compressibility (at 34.5 MPa/5,000 P.S.I.)
- ASTM Recovery 13%
All thicknesses demonstrate the following properties:
- Maximum operating temperature; 70O°C (1292°F)
- Temperature range: Cryogenic to 700°C (1292CF) in an inert or reducing atmosphere, Cryogenic to 5O0°C (932°F) in an oxidizing atmosphere
Precaution: Even in inert or reducing service conditions oxidization of Flexicarb may occur above 500 Deg C. (932°F) if exposed to the external atmospheric conditions. They are not recommended for use with strong oxidizing compounds, e.g. Hydrogen Peroxide and the chemical compatibility of both the Flexicarb sealing face and stainless steel core should be evaluated for specific applications. Size:
- Sheet size: 1000 mm x 1000 mm (39.4 in x39 4 in)
- Thickness: 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and 3 0 mm (0.060 in, 0.080 in and 0.120 in.)
Dimensional Data: Dimensions for type Flexicarb SR gaskets are suitable for standard raised face and flat face flanges.

Nickel Reinforced Gasket Material | Grafite N.R. (Nickel Reinforced) is a high performance semi-rigid laminated graphite material. The 2 layers of graphite foil are bonded to an ultra thin nickel reinforcement layer which is 13 microns (0.0005 in) in thickness. These are used as a direct replacement for asbestos material in almost all known applications and are acknowledged for temperature and chemical resistance. The bonding agent is based on a nitrite phenol adhesive with special high temperature properties and resistance to chemical attack which does not affect the sealing performance of the material in service. Size:
- DIMENSIONAL DATA: Various dimensions of type NR Gaskets to suit standard raised face and flat face flanges

Wire Rienforced Gasket Material Grafite WR is a graphite laminate material comprising of 2 layers of graphite foil reinforced with a 316 stainless steel woven wire mesh. The wire mesh insert gives good reinforcement and handling properties on cut gaskets with narrow flanges, similar to grafite SR and TSR. Manufactured of quality raw material, they are suitable for low pressure applications, particularly on control valves. They are not recommended to be used with strong oxidizing compounds like Nitric Acid. Properties:
- Standard purity
- Wide range mesh size
- Wide operating temperature
95%, 98% graphite 150 x 150 700X (1292t>F) Cryogenic to 700X (1292T) in an inert or reducing atmosphere Cryogenic to 500=0 (932'f) in an oxidizing atmosphere Even in inert or reducing service conditions, oxidization of Flexicarb may occur above 500°Deg C. (932°F)

Tanged Stell Reinfored SR Gasket Material | Comprising of 2 layers of graphite foils the flexicarb is mechanically bonded to a 0.1 mm (0.004") thick in 316 stainless steel grade. As no adhesive are used in its manufacture the laminate does not contain any binders, resins or fibers. They possess the good sealing characteristics and relatively low sealing stress properties. Equipped with stainless steel reinforcement they have enhanced mechanical strength and handling properties. This makes them exact replacements for asbestos based sheet material. However, the teeth of the metal core could indent metals softer than 316 stainless steel, so they are not recommended for use with soft metal flanges including glass, bronze and aluminum. Properties:
- Standard purity
- Maximum operating temperature
- Temperature range

Moreover, the chemical compatibility of both the Flexicarb sealing face and stainless steel core should be evaluated for specific applications. Available in different sizes to suit standard raised face and flat face flanges. Moreover special designs are available when specified by customers . |
