About Us In the fall of 1962, National Pattern and Model Company commenced operation in Carrollton, Michigan. The company employed five people and had three customers: Mueller Brass, Saginaw Maleable Iron and Eaton Corporation. National Pattern remained a small, high quality and personalized supplier of pattern tooling and precision castings when purchased by the current management in January of 1978. National Pattern and Model Company became National Pattern, Inc. in the fall of 1978. With this change in name also began a transformation that would place the company in the position as one of the major suppliers of automotive prototype and production pattern tooling. Construction of new facilities was started in the city of Zilwaukee, adjacent to I-75 during the summer of 1985. Buisness began at the present site in February of 1986 in which the complete relocation of offices, wood shop, metal shop, N/C machine department, design, and programming departments were accomplished with only a one and one-half days loss in production. The plant situated on five acres has 25,000 square feet of offices and production area. The present finds National Pattern, Inc. as a trusted and reliable part of its customers engineering programs. CAD Design, Prototype, full C.N.C machining and at the most competative costs. |
