About Us

Natesans are a highly technology focused group engaged in precision products manufacture for the Indian automotive industry. Founded in 1974, the group has grown and earned a reputation as a Technology Player for producing precision auto components for transmissions, engines, brakes and other applications catering to two wheelers, passenger cars, multi-utility vehicles, sports, light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles and tractors.

Since its inception three decades ago, Natesans have created a niche for themselves in the industry by adopting newer technologies, optimally utilising its production capacities and adhering to stringent quality checks. Its major product, synchronizer rings, stands testimony to the above with many first for the Indian industry in terms of forged tooth profile, warm forged steel synchronizer rings, dual and triple cone applications, alternate friction material options etc.

The facilities today encompass all aspects from product development to delivery covering die design, die manufacture, precision forging, high precision machining and heat treatment resulting in cost advantages and shorter product development cycle to the customer. Natesans today are a single or preferred self certified source for all its customers exceeding customer expectations on PPM levels of quality.

The facilities spread over Chennai, often referred to as the Detroit of India, have earned a reputation for supplying quality parts, offering value proposition to the customer with a partnership approach on product development and continuous improvement. The extensive customer base includes most of the major automotive manufacturers in India and is now expanding overseas.

Notable accolades and certifications are Technology Development Award from the Government of India in 1992, quality certifications ISO 9002:1994 in 1994, QS 9000 in 2001 and TS 16949:2002 in 2004 by RWTUV of Germany and several best vendor awards from customers.

Natesans, with a view to keep abreast with the latest technological advancement, have established a technical support agreement with Ricardo Midlands Technical Centre, UK, consultants of global repute, in the field of transmissions.Efforts are now on, to offer high tech friction material options for the synchroniser application in the Indian market.
