Advanced composites and engineering plastics, as developed by azdel bv, a subsidiary of ge plastics. Tps (technopolymer structure ), glass mat fibre glass reinforced polypropylene sheets in laminate form. The range included several reinforced types making robusts and high quality azdel comosites and engineering plastics. Composites and engineering plastics offer design freedom with wall thickness variations,flanges, ribs, bosses and moulded-in inserts. Moulding process is reconginsed as one of the most productive in the industry as it has an ability to mould large parts in cycle times as low as at 30 seconds. Designed for long term heating aging (ltha), improved uv resistant and homogeneous glass resin flow, offering a 25% to 60% improvement in energy management capability. Composites and engineering plastics absorb energy even at low temperatures untill - 30 degree c. Typical azdel appication in automotive industry include. . . Manufacturing process rtm, lrtm, vartm, mit, smc & hand layup. carbon and phelonic prepad moulded parts with/without honeycomb/other core materials by using vacuum bagging / resin infusion in autoclave / quickstep process, is being setup. near a class exterior finish (unpainted / painted). textured interior finish (unpainted / painted ). thickness range from 2 mm to 50 mm (with or without pu form core). painted with polyurethene paint in a conveyorized paint shop. components as large as 1100 x 1700 mm with pu form cores and metal inserts are produced. low cost solution to low / medium volume production runs. extremely flexible/versatile technology to incorporate complex shapes/designs, core materials, metal inserts. machanization has been introduced starting from raw material preparation, moulding equipments, gel coat spray, trimming, assembly and up to dispatch in order to improve consistancy and productivity. light weight vehicle increases fuel efficiency. very high performance construction in terms of mechnical properties v/s weight when compared with steel. all the raw materials such as continuous glass mat, combination mat sandwiched with synthetic core, specialy developed low profile acrylic / polyster resin systems, variable filler loading for optimization of surface finish, stiffness, mould ability, mechincal properties, curing system, foam core, nutserts, etc. Are chosen from international source to achieve the desired results.

The wood-stock thermo-compression technology incorporates to integrates in an eco-friendly single processing cycle a variety of functions by inserting reinforcing elements, soft cushions, pivating pins & various cover materials such as fabric / pvc / tpo and inserts duly trimmed and finished with a cycle time as low as 100 sec. And with a two cavity mould a capacity of one semi automatic lines goes up to 3,00,000 components / years. With only three - four person per shift. Bed size of the press is 1,88 x 2,500 mm. Which enables manufacturing of components of large size or operate with twin cavity moulds. wood-stock sheets are extruded in a sheet form from a mix of thermoformable polypropylene and wood flour. Recycleable property of wood-stock enables no wastage in process. accepted the world over, this technology is used to manufacture rear parcel shelves, door triims, head liners, seat backs, trunk liners and sun visors by almost all automobile manufacturers. process produced very economical and luxurious door trims. used in cars like alfa romeo, bmw, chysler, daewoo, ford fiat, huyandi, honda, lancis, maruti, marcedes, nissan, opel renault, rover, skoda, toyota, volkswagen, volvo etc. forming of the panel switch by two or three coverings (pvc and fabrics) in different colors press stocks. door panels, ornaments, arm rests, piller covering etc. Moulded in one press stroke with pvc / tpo / fibres. moulded panels with double blow-moulded sheets in a single stroke. high structural stiffness with very strong build in pocket. edge folding on the peripheral. very deep shapes with high degree of finish and comfort. various options. . . the whole trim just the insert fabric ornament only garnish moulded with board assembly.
