Reservoirs are primarily intended for use in delay circuits in conjuction with flow regulators snd pressure-sensitive valves. The circuit is usually arranged so that the reservoir is connected to the inlet port of an ZNCN/151 pilot sequence valve and is slowly charged with pressure air admitted by a flow regulator ZNCN/650. When the pressure in the reservoir has built up to a percentage of the supply pressure, the pilot sequence valve opens to admit a pilot signal to the valve controling the cylinder or the pneumatic device. The timing ranges quoted are necessarily modified by the valume of the associated piping.
The circuit described are intended to provide a delay, not an accurate timing. The repeat accuracy is approximately 5%.
The Nucon range of ZN/SB Sintered Bronze Heavy Duty Silencers have been designed to reduce noise levels in accordance with those specified in the Department, U.K Code for reducing the exposure of employed person to noise. They are of robust all metal(Powder metallurgy) construction and are unaffected by extremes of temperature. Manufactured for long maintenance free life. They are designed to reduce clogging and consequent deterioration of their low back pressure characteristics. The threads are male and can easily be screwed into the exhaust port of a pneumatic valve or the piece of equipment. Exhaust noise levels are reduced to below 90 dB (A) and comply with department of environment's requirements.
The Nucon range of precision flow regulators are available in a wide variety of types and sizes to suit many different applications.
The primary function of flow regulators is to control the speed of pneumatic cylinders by restricting the exhaust flow. The majority of flow regulators are of the uni-directional type which give restricted flow from the inlet to the outlet and unrestricted flow in the reverse direction.
The enables precise control of pneumanic cylinders to be achieved by restricting the exhaust flow.

The ZS/520 range of non-return valves are available in veriety of sizes and their function is to permit the free flow of air in one direction only.
Non-return valves are frequently used as protective devices in air circuits. In the event of failure of the air supply upstream of the non-return valve, the downstream side is protected. In some cases as air reservoir is neede as a protected source of air to be used in connection with amergency a\or fail safe systems and a non-return valve is used to safeguard from reservoir from the normal main air supply.
The function of a shuttle valve is to independent signal sources to be connected to a common pilot line. e.g. a pressure operated valve may then be controlled from two different points. In this respect the unit performs an 'OR' logic funstion.
Shuttle valves may be used in combination to provide operation from three or more independent sources.
When a signal is applied to one inlet port of the shuttle valve a piston moves over, and the inlet is connected to the outlet, the other inlet port remaining sealed.
Available in different colors – Blue, Black, Natural, Orange & Yellow.
Standard supply is made in Blue color, Natural and other colors are supplied on minimum quantity with extra cost.
Recommended to use in compressed air medium only. Rubber like flexibility over a wide range of temperature. Good resilience which allows repeated mountings on to the connecting places.
Resistance to flex cracking.
