About UsNu Metalocraft Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1984 by Present Chairman Kumud Bikash Sen and other colleagues. This Company has been approved for Non ferrous overhead equipment/components for 25 KV AC Traction by Central Organisation for Rly Electrification and have been catering to their major requirements for New electrification project since 1990 with satisfaction.
We have in house testing facilities, Die making shops, own Foundry and follow Gravity Die cast process and producing components ranging from 40 gms. to 5 Kg. each. Our components produced by Gravity Die Cast process is smooth on surface, good grain size, and free from any casting defects.
The Pre-eminence is entirely due to the Company's single minded focus on a relatively narrow technical field, with strong emphasis on innovation, on reacting to customers needs, on quality & versatility in products offered.
NMPL is an ISO 9001:2000 company. Moreover it is registered with SSI, Govt. of West Bengal, SISI, Govt. of India, NSIC. We are also registered with Government of India, Ministry of Defence.
Any Non-ferrous castings against drawings, Std. Specification can be produced by us with customers specification - our products are inspected & passed by RITES (Rail India Technical Economical Services), a Govt. of India undertaking. We have achieved almost ZERO DEFECTS. |

QualityQuality Manual is maintained for Quality Control of our fittings & components and every steps of manufacturing starting from purchasing of raw materials to conversion of the same to finished products and ultimately made ready for delivery. If any fault is found can be eliminated at that stage and ultimately quality products are produced. We follow the System of Quality Control as per RDSO, Lucknow, specification ETI/OHE/49(9/95), Slip No. A & C, 1 & 2 (4/2000) which is almost equivalent to ISO 9000 System. If system is good naturally the products manufactured following that system will be of good quality. We trained our workers accordingly and made them quality conscious. If at any stage we find any non rectifiable error we destroy the product and record it. When a product is manufactured following the strict quality control system the product produced is up to the desired specification as such we find our products never rejected by 3rd party inspection and we can be proud of our product and achieved a Zero Defects stage for last 10 years.

(2) QUALITY SYSTEM : -
At present we are following the quality system laid down by RDSO''s, Lucknow, specification ETI/OHE/49(9/95) & Slip No. A & C, 1 & 2 (4/2000) & strictly follow the Drawing published by RDSO''s Lucknow regarding dimension and other physical & Chemical properties.
3) DOCUMENTS : -
At every stage we maintain the documents as per RDSO Circular for acceptance norms like : -
1. Visual Inspection.
2. Dimension verification.
3. Chemical Composition Test.
4. Physical properties Test
5. Failing Load / Slip Test for
tension joint.
6. Dye Penetration Test.
7. Galvanizing Test for ferrous
fittings.
8. Assembly Test for fitment for
some of the fittings.
(4) PURCHASE : -
Raw materials like copper, Aluminium, Iron, Manganes, Silicon, Nickel which are available in the local market are first tested for purity in our Chemical Laboratory. High tensile fasteners required for assembling our fittings in the line area purchased from the party after 3rd party inspection & these suppliers are approved by Central Organisation & Railway Electrification, Allahabad.
(5) PRODUCTION, IDENTIFICATION &
TESTING : -
We follow the Drawing No. as supplied by RDSO, Lucknow and engraved the Railway identification mark on the fittings and also maintain the lot number on each fittings. If there is any failure of the fittings the lot can be identified at later stage and can be destroyed if there is any failure of the product. We keep our each lot of fittings in a separate container to avoid mixing of different lots in such a way that anybody can segregate the good products from defective products.
Each product undergo following testing procedures like visual, chemical, physical, D. P. Test etc. and each products being checked by different gauges for dimensional check up. For any product is failed in gauge is segregated at different steps and if the defect is non rectifiable test it is destroyed.
