Started as Janta Wafers in 1954 by Shri Dhirubhai Khakhar, today our products are sold under the brand name of ‘Nutkhat Namkeen’. Today, we are a renowned firm engaged in Manufacturing, Exporting and supplying of delicious Namkeen and Snacks.

Shri Dhirubhai Khakhar founded Janta Wafers with a vision to introduce palatable delicacies, which are unique in taste and are healthy too. His dream came true when the snacks became popular among the Bombay natives in a short span and soon these products earned popularity in other countries. Besides his interest in manufacturing and exporting snacks and namkeen, he is also indulged in social welfare also.

He laid foundation stone of Nutan Vidhya Mandir High School is also an active contributor of Dalmia College of Commerce. His elder son Tarun Khakhar joined him in 1964 to expand the business. Together they established a successful wholesale network in Mumbai.

We endeavour to manufacture namkeen as per clients’ choice depending upon their requirements. Clients are most welcome to tell us their specifications regarding flavours, content of spices and other ingredients. This is one of the reasons why we have become favorites among our valuable clients. We also provide free samples of namkeen to our customers so that they can decide what they want.
