Some of the materials like rice bran, soya bean seeds mostly can't be handled by expellers. Continuous solvent extraction, on the other hand does not cause any alteration to the properties of the oil and recovers it with the same characteristics as were present in the raw material and can handle all types of materials.

Dewaxing machine uses the fully automatic once-through steam boiler to produce good quality of steam to serve as the heat source of dewaxing. Because of quick heating and automatic firing & water supplement, the operation is simple & safe without needing safety inspection. The wax and water in the dewaxing furnace are separated.

Palm oil mills receive the palm fruits in the form of palm fruit bunches of 10 to 30 kg. weight. First operation is to separate the palm fruits from the palm bunches. Separation of palm fruits by hand is very big drugery.

But, our palm fruit stripper separates palm fruits from the bunches by easy mechanical process. Stripping operation is done by the beaters welded on all the four sides of revolving heavy square shaft of the stripper. When bunch is thrown on the revolving beater shaft, due to the action of beater, entire bunch is thrown up and is allowed to fall again and again on the revolving beaters.

Thus, palm fruits are separated and fall down through the screen which are collected by the bottom conveyor and is taken out from the outlet. Empty bunches are automatically pushed on the other end of the palm fruit stripper machine.

Fractionation is the removal of solids at a given temperature. There are three kinds of fractionation process such as:

• Crystallization: Crystallization is the widespread technique. A mixture of trigrycerides is separated into different melting points based on solubility at selected temperature.


• Winterization: Next, a small quantity of material is crystallized to avoid hazes of liquid fractions at refrigeration temperatures, this process is called winterization.


• Pressing: Finally, pressing process is used to separate of liquid oil from solid fat. The process squeezes or presses the liquid oil.
