Fire Alarm Panels: Panels are the heart of any fire alarm system and include the controls that process the signals received from input devices and give out signals to the output devices. Each panel has an inbuilt battery charger with back-up batteries, and supplies power to the devices that are connected to the panel. Both the input devices detectors and manual pull stations and the output devices horns, strobes, and speakers are connected to the panel. The input devices detect and measure signals emanating from fires, communicate with the control panel, and in case of any abnormal situation, trigger output devices to give out an audible or visual alarm.

Fire Alarm Devices: This product group takes into account devices that are connected to the main fire alarm panel, and which either send to or receive signals from the same. The devices include initiating devices that detect and measure environmental conditions and initiate an alarm. The initiating devices could either be automatic or manual. Automatic initiating devices include fire and smoke detection devices, whereas manual initiating devices refer to manual pull stations. Fire alarm devices also include devices that notify the occupants of an alarm condition and comprise notification appliances such as horns, strobes, speakers, and bells. Apart from these, there are devices such as annunciators, which are used by respondents to replicate the status of the main fire alarm panel.
