Our company's mother firm is M/s.O.M.S.S.Sangaralinga Nadar.The company was established in the year 1944.It is a family owned business mainly concentrating in Tamarind. The founder Mr.O.M.S.S.Sangaralinga Nadar was born in an upper middle class man who had a vast experience in areca nut business during 1930 - 1940.He had his shop in Colombo in Sri Lanka. By the time of second world war his firm was one among the leading firms that were attacked. 

He decided to move towards India, stopped his areca nut business and started Tamarind business. With all the huge experience he had earlier, and through the grace of almighty he shined in tamarind business even during its beginning stages. His next generation of family members worked along with him tirelessly and he shined in Tamarind Trade. Through their sheer hardwork by the year 1960 his firm became one of the leading firms in South India. By 1972 our firm grew into a national status as one of the most respected names in Tamarind business. We started a hygienic process by which the tamarind prepared by us became very famous due to its quality and cleanliness. The family name of OMS was kept as the product's name.
