Chemical Formulations
|
Engaged in formulating and exporting a wide range of chemicals such as silicone emulsion, silicon defoamer, silicone lubricants and textile silicon lubricants. We are reckoned for supplying formulations which are high on quality and effectiveness. Fresh and pure, these are formulated using high grade raw material such as:

 | The treatment of textiles with substances that modify their surface properties has been common practice from the most ancient times. The use of vegetable dyes for coloration, or starches to impart stiffness, use of animal or vegetable fats and oils to impart flexibility, water repellents and softness were used commonly.
The textile industry has placed an ever increasing demand on textile finishers to produce higher quality fabrics with special aesthetic properties. One of the families of finishes that contribute to textile aesthetics is textile softeners.
In an ongoing effort to improve the softness properties, either with respect to permanence or feel, many chemical modifications have been carried out, and it is common to find fattyesters, amines, ethoxylates, amides, cationic, anionic and quaternary functionalised products in daily use. In more recent years the notion of higher performance or "Premium" softeners has emerged, which places greater importance on the role of a softener to improve the solidity and wear properties of the treated fabrics, as well as the comfort characteristics, within today's stringent competitive economic environment. Amino Silicone Emulsions, Silicone Oil Emulsions and Silicone Resin Emulsions fulfil the major part of these requirements, for a number of reasons:
Due to their efficiency even at low levels, they are applied at lower concentrations than other softeners. Due to the "rich" hand obtained with silicones they are able to impart acceptable softness to fabrics made from cheap, short fibre, open end spun yarns, again making them price competitive.
Due to excellent surface and lubrication effects they resist abrasion and thus are able to prolong fabric life. They enhance characteristics imparted by mechanical finishing and produce fabrics with better easy care properties and comfort. Silicones have long been considered to be capable to impart an excellent soft, slick handle to the fabrics surface. | view all products
 | OMTEXs team has developed new processes and custom built equipment for making emulsions, specializing in the manufacture of high quality silicone fluid emulsion, water repellent emulsion, water cleaning emulsion and textile finishing emulsion where the active ingredient is any of a wide range of fluids. This allows emulsification of extremely high viscosity methyl end blocked dimethyl silicone fluids. Silicone emulsions are used in a wide range of industrial and consumer products such as, release agents for rubber and plastic, hot metal lubricants and coatings. The specialized equipment also allows custom emulsification of fluids or oils using your emulsifier packages. Tailor made silicone emulsions with various active content too are manufactured. | view all products
 | Om Tex Silicone fluids, Dimethyl Silicone Fluids, Dimethyl Polysiloxanes Silicon Fluids are water clear liquids which are available in viscocity ranging from 200 Cst - 60,000 Cst. Their distinguising features result from their molecular structure. Silicone fluids are Dimethyl polysiloxanes with unbranched chains consisting of alternate silicon & oxygen atoms, their free valencies being saturated with Methyl groups, whereas carbon chains of organic materials are rather sensitive to external influences, the stability of the organic Si-O bonds corresponds in many regards to the chemically inert behavior of mineral Silicates.
Viscocity Available :
1) 200 Cst
2) 350 Cst
3) 1000 Cst
4) 5000 Cst
5) 10,000 Cst
6) 12,500 Cst
7) 60,000 Cst. | view all products
 | Amino Silicone Fluids are noted for their excellent textile finishing properties, imbuing fibres & textiles with an in comparably soft, permanent handle. They owe this ability to the affirmity of the amino groups to the fibres, which promotes optimum orientation of the silicones on the substrate, thus guaranteeing an ideal soft handle. Amino silicone softners, those bearing amino ethyl / amino propyl groups have yielded the best results. The amino groups are linked to the polymer by short Hydrocarbon chains & are against the Hydrolysis & high Temperature. Amino silicones are generally characterised in terms of amine value, viscocity & reactivity. We at omtex manufacture amino silicone fluids with the perfect blend of amine value, viscocity etc & thereby produce few of the best Amino Silicone Fluids. | Omtex silicon defoamer / silicon antifoams are high performance silicone based products containing non ionic surfactants and functional additives. Foam formation is the result of dissolved molecules in a liquid. The dissolved molecules alter the surface tension of the liquid, and can be viewed as surface active agents (surfactants). The surfactants can be nonionic, cationic, anionic, or amphoteric. The liquid can be either aqueous, nonaqueous, or both (some industrial systems may contain dissolved organics which require special consideration). Different surfactants will generate different types of silicon antifoam, antifoam emulsion, silicon antifoam emulsion and foam stability. When agitated, bubbles will form, which will immediately encounter gravitational effects pulling liquid along the bubble walls back down into the liquid beneath the bubble. A simplified picture of a bubble can be described as spherical, having both an outer wall and inner wall.
When the surface tension is high enough, bubble formation becomes more rigid and stable. If a bubble is subjected to mechanical agitation, bubbles caused by entrained air, would form very stable lamellar structures. The Marangoni effect is a major stabilizing factor in foam, and is driven by osmotic pressure. In some cases, the aqueous liquid is being pulled through the bubbles' walls creating regions of low and high surfactant concentrations, which sets up a gradient along the bubbles' surface. The gradient would pump liquid back onto the bubble walls, where this phenomenon is referred to as a surface transport. The bulk viscosity also contributed to foam stability. As the viscosity of liquids increase, entrained air, now a bubble, can be trapped below the liquid's surface. Increasing viscosity of the system also reduces the coalescence capability of smaller bubbles merging to become larger bubbles. If the bubbles become large enough (increasing the diameter), bubble stability decreases. | view all products
 | Omtex Organic Defoamers, Silicone Defoamer Agents, Non Silicone Defoamer Agents providing non silicone defoamers are specially formulated products for general purpose applications with excellent defoaming action. All these products are 100% active compound and can be used directly to get the desired concentration. This can be a substitute for silicone defoamer, wherein silicone causes the problem of separation and spotting. These products are formulations based on paraffinic polymers and non ionic emulsifiers. Non Silicone De foamers finds application in the following industries :
1) Detergent & Cleaners
2) Pulp & Paper
3) Lubricants, Fuels & organic acids
4) Fermentation Units
5) Textiles
6) Paints & Coating Industry
7) Polymerisation & Distillation Industry.
8) Effluent Treatment Plants
Each of these industry uses different type of products. Hence, please request for the product as per the industry. | view all products
 | Silicon based thread lubricants and sewing thread lubricants have given excellent results in the finishing of sewing thread to improve the threads surface slip & increase its heat resistance. Sewing characterstics are also improved, so that the thread does not break & surface gloss is also increased. The thread lubricants, sewing thread lubricants, silicon thread lubricants and thread lubricant emulsions are available as 100% conc. as well as in the form of Emulsions and 100% products are in paste form as well as clear Liquids. The Paste form requires heat for the application. | view all products
