On Load Gears manufactures Vacuum Circuit Breaker and On Load Tap Changers. On Load Gears was registered as a Partnership firm in 1984. On Load Gears sold its first Tap changer in 1985. Over the years, we have grown in size and in operations and now offer a wide range of both External & In Tank Type Tap Changers. We have also extended our manufacturing range to include Vacuum Circuit Breakers.


Products

The company introduces comprehensive range of products made of the best raw material. Following is the wide range of products available at competitive prices:

• On Load Tap Changers
  • The range of Tap Changers covers from 11, 33, 66, 132 and 230kV Classes. The current ratings extend from 100A to 800A.
  • The OLG range of Tap Changers may be broadly classified in two groups, lntank and Externally mounted.
    
  • A wide range of Tap Changers are available for both Unidirectional and Bidirectional Power Flow for every Transformer application. Tap Changers are available from 8 Steps onwards to a maximum of 99 steps depending on the model.
  • OLG is now established as the, biggest independent manufacturer of Tap changers in the country. At present about 6000 Tap changers are in service with various Electricity Boards and large institutional users allover the country and a few are abroad.
  • Now, OLG has developed and supplying Reactor Type On-Load Tap changer for Amercian Market. The present rating under supply is 15 KV, 1600 Amps and 33 Position.

• Vacuum Circuit Breakers
  • OLG manufactures Vacuum Circuit Breaker for 11kV application, upto a rated current of 2000A, and Short Circuit level of 26.3kA. The range includes Indoor Vacuum Circuit Breakers and Outdoor Vacuum Circuit Breakers.
  • For Indoor applications, Breakers can be supplied either in the form of complete Switchgear equipment, consisting of Metalclad, Withdrawable, Extendable units incorporating instrument Transformers, Protective Relays and instrumentation. For Outdoor application, OLG can supply Breakers in Metalclad execution with Roof Entry Bushings or Cable Box Entry and Breakers in Porcelain Clad execution.
  • A further speciality of OLG is the ability to supply either loose Trucks of Vacuum Circuit Breakers or Vacuum Circuit Breakers in "Cassette" execution, suitable for being built into complete Switchgear panels by Panel manufacturers. Such an execution is also very suitable for modernizing existing Switchgear.
