Aerial Bunched Cables
We offer customers aerial bunched cables. These are made available in 1100 volt grade and are extensively used for distributing power to individual consumers. Some of the areas these find application in include electricity boards and electricity distributing authorities. Further, the line is tapped intermittently from any required position, which enables it to be used in urban & rural areas alike.

The cable is kept supported on poles
Conductor:
Phase or lighting conductor: Hard drawn Aluminum H2 or H4 grade as per IS:8130
Messenger conductor: Aluminum Silica & Magnesium Alloy used after treatment as per IS: 398 (part 4)
Insulation:
XLPE applied by extrusion process
Identification of Phase:
By providing ridges on insulation of phase conductors (One ridge for 1st phase, 2 and 3 ridges for 2nd and 3rd phases respectively)
Neutral can have 4 ridges (If desired)
Color of Insulation:
Because cables remains exposed to environment and sunlight (Ultraviolet radiation) the insulation provided by us is mixed with a small amount of carbon black (it helps in stopping deterioration of polythene due to U V radiation)
Assembling:
The phase conductor along with lighting conductor (Where applicable) is twisted around messenger conductor
Construction:
The phase conductor can be of single phase as well as of three phase
Lighting conductor can be also incorporated to give supply to street lighting
Messenger conductor supports weight of cable & keeps the assembly strung under tension

The wide range of power cable (LT PVC Cables) offered by us is made available in different dimension and weight options. Further, these PVC insulated power cables are precision designed to conform to IS:1554 / Par t 1 / 1988. The range of power cables (9LT-XLPE cables) offered by us is manufactured with XLPE insulation. These can be made available in voltage grade up to 1.1KV. Further, these also conform to various Indian (IS-7098/1-1988) and international standard specifications.
Cross Linked Polyethylene (XLPE)-
XLPE means cross-linked polyethylene/ vulcanize polyethylene
The basic material is low density polyethylene
Polyethylene is a thermoplastic material comprising of long chain of hydrocarbon molecules
At elevated temperatures these molecules tend to move relative to one another so that material becomes increasingly deformable & will eventually melt at temperature of around 110°C
By means of processes similar to vulcanization or rubber, the polyethylene molecules can be cross-linked
The process of cross linking/ vulcanization consists of producing chemical bonds at intervals between long molecular chain to give a “ladder” like effect that prevents slippage between molecules
As a result of cross-linking, the material becomes heat resistant & does not soften at higher temperature
Further it has better resistance to stress cracking & good resistance to ageing in hot air
With change of structure there is no adverse effect on electrical properties
LT-XLPE Cables are Superior to PVC Cable as they:
Have longer life as compared to conventional PVC cables
Have higher conductor temperature rating (i.e. 90°C as against 70°C of PVC) hence having higher current rating
Have higher emergency overload capacity than PVC cables (Up to 60%)
Have max. temperature limit under short circuit conditions 250°C as a against 160°C for PVC cables & hence have higher short circuit rating
Have moisture resistance of nearly 100 times that of PVC
Have very high insulation resistance compared to PVC (As high as 1000 times)
Have high corrosion resistance in polluted atmosphere as compared to PVC cables
Have better properties of resistance to chemical and corrosive gases
Have low installation cost because of light weight, dimensions & are far more flexible
Have better properties to withstand vibration and hot impacts
Telecommunication cables offered by us are made available with annealed high conductivity and uniform coated tin, electrolytic grade solid conductor that conform to IS: 8130:1984 of diameters 0.5mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.7mm. Further, we can also deliver these in specifications as demanded by our customers.

Pairing:
Two cores are uniformly twisted together to form pair with maximum lay length 80 mm
The lay shall be so chosen as to minimize cross talk in the cable
Laying of Pairs:
The layers in cables containing 63 wires or less shall be stranded with suitable left hand lay
The stranding lay of all other cable cores shall be alternate
The cable shall be wrapped with polyester tape
Rip Cord:
Non-metallic such as nylon suitable rip cord shall be laid up longitudinally under sheath for effective means of slitting sheath longitudinally to facilitate removal
Sheath:
The laid up of pairs are covered with PVC compound as per type TM2 of IS: 13176:1991 of grey color. Further, the sheath shall be uniform & tightly fitted with overall diameter as under:
Armored Cables:
If above cables are required armored, the armoring and outer sheath shall be as per IS:1554 [Pt-I]:1988
