Quality

Conformance and accreditation are keytones of our Management Systems at Orthoplastics UK, guided by the requirements f 21 CFR 820, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001. All our products confirm to applicable product standards, the most notable being UHMWPE. All batches are tested and certified to both ISO 5834 and ASTM F648 and in many cases, additional bespoke tests are carried out to individual customer requirements.

Infrastructure

We were instrumental in the development of cross linked polyethylene and have our own patented process for ensuring quality. For the last 5 years, we have added instrument materials to our product portfolio, offering many colours of Acetal, Ultem and RADEL, not forgetting the other implantable materials: PMMA (Cement Restrictors) and PEEK (for spine implants). All our products are made at our factory near Manchester, UK and we hope we will be in a position to fulfill all your needs with utmost care.
