Handicrafts v terracotta, woodcraft, stone craft, golden grass, applique, patch work, sabai grass, horn craft, cane & bamboo, dhokra, paper machie, pattachitra, palm- leaf engraving, tussar painting, lacquer, brass & bell metal, sea shell, coir, betel- nut and coconut products etc.

- Artisan groups : 60 members covering approx. 6500 artisan families of orissa.
- Action interventions h promotion activities : the promotion activities involve :
i)mobilizing/organizing the artisans in a common front
ii)technical skill up gradation and skill perfection programmes. Iii)design development and product diversification.
Iv)formation of micro-level shgs of the artisan groups.
V)managerial skill formation programmes.
Vi)craft related workshops and seminars, annual convention, reward and incentives.
Vii)linkage with local financial institutions.
Viii)dissemination of information.
- Marketing Activities : the marketing activities involves :
i) strengthening the export potential by increasing contact and sale of products.
Ii) intensive contact with trading houses within the country and enhancement of order supply and sale.
Iii) organizing exhibition within the country for handicrafts marketing.
Iv) local marketing through showroom outlets.
V) publicity coverage of the product within and outside.
Vi) market analysis, costing and pricing of the product.
