Oscar Leathers Pvt. Ltd. is a 16 year old company located 250 KM north of New Delhi near the most modern Indian city, Chandigarh. The company is engaged in the manufacture and export of leather shoes and uppers to leading brands in Europe and Australia. The company and its ancillaries employ skilled workforce of about 500 people and has a capacity of manufacturing 3000 pairs of shoes per day. Our export turnover exceeds 5.00 Million USD per year.
We were awarded the ISO: 9001-2000 certification by TUV, Germany in 2005 and we have also cleared Social Responsibility Audits conducted by various international agencies. Our company prides itself in our adherence to safety and transparency norms. We make conscious effort to minimize our carbon footprint and harm to ecology through recycling of waste water, rain water harvesting, use of natural sunlight and plantation of 1000 trees on our premises.
The company was promoted by Mr. Sanjiv Gupta and Mr. Jasvinder Pal Singh Rana, who are Engineers by education and have a professional approach towards excellence in manufacturing. The company was further strengthened with the joining of Mr. Matias Salva Prohens as a partner, who belongs to a traditional Spanish shoe manufacturing family and has graduation degree from London?s Cordwainers College in Footwear technology and design. The merchandising and materials control function is personally looked after by our partner, Mr. Parvinder Singh who is an MBA in material management.
