Prashant Glass Works (P) Ltd (PGWPL) was incorporated in 1982 under the Companies Act 1956, with the vision to promote the Glass Bead Industry in India by manufacturing world class glass beads with technical collaboration with Japan, under environmentally friendly conditions. Having followed this path, PGWPL today is considered an undisputed leader in manufacture of Glass beads using the mechanized Japanese Technology. Further, PGWPL has also become the largest importer/ trader of chemicals used in the Glass industry. The company strives towards perfection and this can be understood, when we take a look at the motto of the company.

During the first two decades of incorporation the company has witnessed enormous growth, in the process becoming the world largest manufacturer of Seed Beads in the world, with a capacity to manufacture about 10 tonnes of Glass beads a day.
