Pacific Electronics Pvt. Limited was founded in 1980 by Late Sri P. Hanumantha Rao, a post graduate from IIT Madras with seven years experience in the Instrumentation Division of Electronics Corporation of India Limited. Pacific had been started with a meager capital of Rs.10000/- using a part of Mr. Hanumantha Rao's house as the office and factory. He recruited a few young people who were able to share his vision and work energetically towards their goal of making Pacific a successful venture.
