Cataract or cloudiness of natural lens is an aging process. Till date there is no medical care for it. Only solution is the surgical replacement of the aged lens with an artificial lens. Various methods have been designed to accomplish this. Latest technology in the field (Micro-Phacoemulsification) uses a very small (less than 2.0 mm) incision with no stitches, ultrasound to emulsify the lens, sucking it through a small tube and replace it with a foldable lens. We, at Pakhi Eye Care have latest emulsification machine at our disposal. We use no injection, no bandage technique (Topical Phacoemulsification) to give immediate visual recovery. We have best intraocular lenses available anywhere to impart a crystal clear vision.

A childs eye is very much different than an adult one. Consequently its ophthalmic needs are different than its mature counterpart. Pakhi Eye Care understandably has dedicated Paediatric Ophthalmic surgeon, Dr. Ashish Agrawal, to deal with these issues. Various paediatric ailments like Cataract, Squint, CNLDO, Ptosis are dealt aptly by him.
