MachinesBlister Forming Machines can be classified into semi automatic single ended or double ended depending upon the productivity and power consumption. For lesser quantity single ended Machines can be used and for more productivity and energy saving usage of double ended machine is recommended. The machines serves dual purpose by which both blister forming or skin packing can be done. Availability of the machines varies from 5″ x 5″ to 24″ x 36″ or further more depending upon size of the blister, no. of ups to be formed, total quantity required and provision of fund for the making of forming die either with aluminum or epoxy resin. The normal production of the machine varies from 250 to 350 shots per shift from single end depending upon the thickness of the substrate to be formed. The machine has the ability to form PVC APET, PETG, HIPS, ABS and polycarbonate. Also these machines can be loaded either with U type spring heaters or infrared sandwich heaters depending upon the budget of investment. High quality pneumatic cylinders and vacuum pump are used in this M/C to get better quality.
Fully automatic machines are also available to form the substrates continuously in roll form. In such case the productivity will be 1000 to 1500 shots per shift. The size of the automatic forming machine ranges from 6” width to 60” width.
