There is a good number of skilled labours for carrying the stringent milling activities. The company has 3 sister concerns in Calicut i.e. ?Balika Oil Industries? (producing coconut oil in the brand name ?Devi & Butterfly), ?Delta Scales? (a weighing machine manufacturing unit located at R.C. Road, Calicut) and Another sister concern, ?Gopinath & Co?, (a wholesale trading firm).

After establishing in the wholesale market the company slowly entered the consumer market in the year 1999. Company has a ?Sales Depot? at Mysore where trading of Lakshmi coconut oil in bulk and consumer packs are sold to wholesale and retail consumers. The branch was started in 1960s and is still going on successfully. Presently, we are catering to INDIA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman.We have also applied for ISO 9001:2000 certification which is in process.

Panniankara Oil Mills started functioning in 1950 under kind guidance of late Mr. T.K. Balan and is still going on strongly. The company is now run by professionals having experience in commercial and technical fields, headed by Mr. T.B. Krishnadas and Mr. Nideesh T. G. . The company which began as a wholesale trading company has entered into the consumer market in 1999.
