Submerged Arc Welding Fluxes

We manufacture and supply a wide range of submerged arc welding fluxes that is optimum in quality that includes calcined bauxite, manganese oxide, ferro manganese, calcined alumina and ceramic molochite. Our wide assortment of minerals finds their applications in different industry for the production of other minerals. Submerged arc welding is a common arc welding process. It is also called SAW Fluxes. Some of our submerged arc welding fluxes comprises of the following:

Calcined Bauxite

We manufacture and supply optimum quality calcined bauxite which is one of the principal ore of aluminum. Calcined bauxite contains hydrous aluminum oxides and aluminum hydroxides. Such minerals are:
  • Gibbsite
  • Boehmite
  • diaspore
. Calcined bauxite is formed through the laterization of aluminous rocks in tropical and subtropical areas. Calcined bauxite is formed through high heating of bauxite. We offer calcined bauxite as per the requirement of our clients. Some of the salient features of calcined bauxite are as follows:

Chemical analysis:
  • A12O3: 85% - 87%
  • SiO2 : 3% - 5%
  • TiO2: 5% - 7%
  • Fe203: 3% - 5%
  • C: 0.10% max
  • S: 0.030% max
  • P: 0.040% max
  • CaO: Traces
  • LOI at lOOO deg .c: 0.60% max
  • Moisture: 0.20% max

Sieve analysis:
  • -44 mesh: 100% passing
  • -100 mesh: 75-80%
  • -240mesh: 40- 25%

Manganese Oxide

Manganese Oxide

Manganese oxide is available in 20 different types and is categorized under the various categories of manganese in its oxidation state. Some of the categories of manganese are available in the mineral as:
  • Tetravalent (Mn+)
  • Trivalent (MnJ+)
  • Divalent (Mn2~) manganese oxides
.

The tetra and trivalent manganese oxides are available widely in the continental and marine environments, with a large percentage in the ocean floors.

Manganese oxide is a prime source of manganese for which it is used in the manufacturing of steel and in cathodic material in dry-cell batteries. Manganese oxide is further processed and is known as MnO slug. Some of the salient features of our high quality manganese oxide slug comprises of the following:

Chemical analysis:
  • MnO: 53% - 60%
  • SiO2: 21%-25%
  • MgO: 4% - 6%
  • CaO: 5% - 8%
  • A12O3: 2.5% - 4.5%
  • Fe2O3: 1.5% max
  • C: 0.030% max
  • S: 0.030% max
  • P: 0.020% max

Sieve analysis:
  • -30 mesh: 100% passing
  • -100 mesh: 75 - 65% passing
  • -200 mesh: 20% - 50% passing

Ferro Manganese

Ferro manganese a ferro alloy with high content of manganese, is made by heating a mixture of the oxides MnO2 and Fe2O3, with carbon in a furnace. The chemical and sieve analysis of our ferro manganese slug are as follows:

Chemical analysis:
  • MnO : 28%-38%
  • C : 0%-0.1%
  • S : 0%- 0.040%
  • P : 0% - 0.040%

Sieve analysis:
  • -44 mesh : 100% passing
  • -100 mesh : 95 - 75% passing
  • -200 mesh : 70 - 40% passing

Note: Specifications can be changed according to the requirement.

Calcined Alumina

Calcined Alumina

We offer calcined alumina which is a good replacement for TiO2 and reduces cost in the operation. It hardness enables calcined alumina ideal for applications as an abrasive and as a component in cutting tool. Some of the salient features of our calcined alumina are as follows:

  • Lightweight
  • Super white

  • High degree of brightness
  • low plasticity
  • ease of dispersion

  • low density
  • low moisture content
  • constant viscosity

  • good thermal insulator
  • electrical insulator

  • Chemical analysis:
    • A12O3 : 99% min
    • Na2O : 0.50% max
    • S : 0.020%max
    • P : 0.010% max
    • Ignition loss at 1000 deg c :-0.50% max

    • Sieve analysis:
    • -100 mesh : 100% passing
    • -200 mesh : 80-95% passing

Ceramic Molochite

Backed by our sophisticated manufacturing unit we are able to offer ceramic molochite which is crushed and fired white porcelain. When used with clay bodies, it helps in reducing shrinkage, cracking and warping. Chemical and sieve analysis of ceramic molochite are as follows:

Chemical Analysis:
  • SiO2: 51 % max

  • AI2O3: 44% min

  • Sieve Analysis:
  • -50 mesh: 100% passing
  • +200 mesh: 75% residue
  • -200 mesh: 25% passing

  • Packaging: in HDPE bags 50 Kg.net

Note: The specifications mentioned can be changed according to the requirements.
