About UsWe established our first unit at baddi in the year 1987 in one of the industrial plots given to us by the state industries department. Our product from this unit related to manufacture of insulation tape for electrical purpose which was exclusively supplied to state electricity board. The insulated solution developed by us was required to be coated on textile substrate. This gave us wide experience in the coating line. we were then dependent upon the facilities available at chandigarh for our requirements. the state of himachal pradesh is well known as dev bhoomi not only because of various important temples and religious traditions but also because of the nature of residents of this state, who are highly religious, peace-loving, respectful and caring. Himachal is also prominently known as a tourist resort. Shimla, the queen of hills is the capital of the state. the year 1985 marked selection of a small villagce known as baddi in himachal pradesh, for development of industries in the state. Like another industrial area parwanoo, baddi and its adjoining areas barotiwala and nalagarh , now known as baddi-barotowala-nalagarh industrial area (bbn) gained immediate response because of locational advantage of being close to chandigarh in the centre flanked by the state of haryana and punjab on either side. government of india announced elaborate incentives for the state of himachal pradesh in the year 2003 and bbn became an immediate crush with industrial establishments all over india. The majority of pharmaceutical units in india are operating, directly or indirectly, from bbn. the infrastructure development of bbn is now with a development authority set up for this area. The rail, road and air connectivity of international level to this industrial belt is likely to come up very soon. The importance of this area as one of the best in india is foreseen, more so for pharma products. |
