These are available in standard shapes, sizes and grades as per the demands of the esteemed clients. It works as a good electrical insulator and known for its water and chemical resistant properties having specific gravity. Of 1.35.

Properties

• Grade F2-Made from medium weave fabric woven from long staple cotton, has very good mechanical application.
• Grade F3- Made from Coarse fabric woven from long staple cotton

Thermosetting synthetic resin bonded sheets made from glass-fibre reinforcements are superior to those made from cellulose reinforcements, such as paper, wood veneer and cotton fabric, in that they have generally better combination of electrical, mechanical and physical properties, and superior thermal characteristic.

Classification

SRBGF sheets are broadly classified according to types of resins used as follows:

• UP, based on unsaturated polyester resin system.

• PF based on phenolic resin system and

• EP, based on epoxide resin system.
