Cropking Mounted offset disc harrow - as the name suggests this is a harrow capable of operating offset from the tractor. The harrow is made up of 14-24 discs mounted in two gangs. Each gang has common centre bolt (arbor) and throws the soil in opposite direction. Finer soil tilth is obtained by cutting, impact and stirring action of the discs. The very aggressive action of the harrow cuts and buries crop residues. Sometimes notched discs are incorporated in the harrow. The notched discs penetrate better in the soil because of the reduced peripheral contact area. Also these discs are very effective against weeds because of the pulling and cutting action of the discs rather than pushing. The spring loaded head stock brace of the mounted harrow allows flexibility of the unit over uneven terrain or obstructions. This feature prevents damage.

The plough has special wear resistant steel share with heat treated bar points for toughest ploughing jobs. Bar point share ensures longer life as it can be extended or reversed and re-used till the last possible length. The horizontal and vertical suctions are carefully incorporated as the plough relies on these clearances for proper width and depth of the furrows.

Main frame fabricated by joining two strong channels with central channel reinforcement which resists bending stresses encountered. By using 9” (23 cm) shank spacing, weed killing capability of the tiller has been increased. ‘CROPKING’ disc ridger has two adjustable discs on heavy duty frame; angled to form a wide ‘V’ shape. The discs can be adjusted to give required size and shape of the ridge and can be set parallel to form running wheels. The unit looks compact and the draft requirement is less than that required for conventional tractor mounted mould board or disc plough.
