Under the arduous leadership of 'Mr. Praphull Dinkar Tamhane', who is a mechanical engineer, we have achieved commendable success over these years. He started his career as a machine shop engineer with M/s. Estrella Batteries in the year 1963. Gaining basic knowledge of handling various machine tools from there, he switched to M/s. Havero Industries in 1966, ultimately becoming chief engineer of the company. It was here, he designed and developed various machines such as Spiral paper tube making machine. From here on, he joined M/s. Nikolaus Branz , a West German company, as Project Engineer and traveled to various countries like Egypt, Syria, Jordan & Algeria to implement some challenging projects. With his return to India in 1978 Mr. Tamhane joined M/s. Colgate Palmolive (I) Ltd as Project Engineer and designed certain very successful for cartoning the toothpaste tubes for which he also received “YCMAD” Global Award. In the year 1993 Mr. Tamhane was promoted to the post of Factory Manager and was made responsible of entire Plant operations, at Sewri, Mumbai. He became Associate Director Manufacturing in the year 1997 and retired as Associate Director Project in year 2000 after serving for nearly 23 years. Now, he is the Technical Director of M/s. Pat Machines Pvt. Ltd., which is a company engaged in manufacturing packaging machines.
