“PATEL HEATERS” Ceramic insulated band heaters are efficient and economical solutions to the heating requirements of many applications. Although their maximum sheath temperature is limited to 900’ C, with different electrical termination styles, clamping mechanism and ability to accommodate holes and cut outs.


“PATEL HEATERS” are successfully used in many applications but are mostly sought for in the plastics industry.

DESCRIPTION

 

  • Ceramic insulated heaters constructed in SS sheath.

Mica Insulated Band Heater

“PATEL HEATERS” Mica insulated band heaters are efficient and economical solutions to the heating requirements of many applications. Although their maximum sheath temperature is limited to 350’ C, with different electrical termination styles, clamping mechanism and ability to accommodate holes and cut outs.

  • Constructed in Brass & SS.
  • SS or Brass sheath is used on all Low-Density cartridge heaters to provide the best combination of physical strength.

  • Helically wound 80/20 Nickel Chrome or Kenthal    resistance wire.

 Tubular heaters are used for almost every kind of heating appliances. They are easy to form and feature highest mechanic stability and electric properties at the same time. Even though tubular heaters are technically rather mature and universal to use, there exist various new innovative solutions for many applications. Thus flexible tubular heaters  have developed to be a new industry standard for the use in heating plats, welding bars and manifolds. Screw in tubular heaters are standardized for use in liquids like water. Finned tubular heaters are especially for air-heating-cabinets or tunnels.

  • Capable of producing Uniform heat transfer to Flat    Surfaces.
  • Constructed in G.I. & S.S.
  • Heater sheath material depends upon Temp. requirement.
  • Finned strip heater for more coverage of surface area and
  •    it’s used where high velocity of air to be heated.

  • A specific nickel-chrome or Kenthal resistance wire.
  • Specially selected mica grade/ceramic runner and  thickness is used to insulate the windings providing    excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric strength.

The HD Strip Heater's highly compacted refractory material quickly conducts heat from the resistance wire to the sheath resulting in low internal temperatures and long heater life in the most demanding applications. Precise placement of the resistance wire provides uniform sheath temperature across the width and along the entire heated length. Terminal designs allow easy installation wiring. 3/8" thickness creates a rigid sheath for secure clamping ability. The HD Strip Heater is ideally suited for many industrial and commercial applications.
