About Us
|
We are one of the foremost manufacturers and exporters of high quality cellulose derivatives and specialty chemicals like sodium carboxy methyl cellulose, alpha cellulose, micro crystalline cellulose, carboxy methyl starch, modified starch, monochloro acetic acid and sodium monochloro acetate. Since its inception in 1995, the company has steadily headed towards an upward growth as evident from its statistical data. Initially the company's production capacity was 360 MT/annum which has now increased to 2200 MT/annum. An extensive research and analysis of increasing market needs has led us in importing high performance sodium carboxy methyl cellulose and hydroxy ethyl cellulose, directly and exclusively, from Chinese manufacturers to satisfy the requirements of pharma, ceramic, paint, paper, cosmetic and other related industries. |

Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose
Sodium carboxy methyl cellulose is a cellulose ether gum and being anionic, it is a water-soluble polymer. It is supplied as granules, coarse and powder of white to cream colour and is available in varied grades and viscosity. It is an odorless, tasteless and non-toxic powder highly soluble in hot as well as cold water but stable towards hard water, alkalies, acids and certain electrolytes. However, multivalued metal ions and certain complex cations tend to precipitate sodium carboxy methyl cellulose from solution. The solution of sodium carboxy methyl cellulose has better resistance to microbiological attack as compared to many natural products.
Applications: Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose(cmc) finds wide application in food, toothpaste, detergent, paints, ceramics, textiles and drilling industry.

Alpha Cellulose
Cellulose powder is basically alpha cellulose and is derived from cotton or wood pulp. It is an inert, non-abrasive, soft, absorbent white and cream powder.
Applications:- When used in welding electrodes, it leaves practically nothing after incineration and provides inert gas atmosphere at the time of welding.
- When added to the rubber mix, the specific gravity of the product is lowered, it gives leather like consistency without abrasion resistance to sole sheets.
- Cellulose powder is a good depositing media during filtration of galvanic baths and organic solutions.
- Due to fine fibrous structure and surface of the cellulose powders, good filtration is obtained.

Micro Crystalline Cellulose
Micro crystalline cellulose is a purified partially depolymerized alpha cellulose derived from pure special grades of wood pulp. It is relatively free flowing powder virtually free from organic and inorganic contaminants. It is insoluble in water, dilute acids and most organic solvents and practically insoluble in sodium hydroxide.
Applications:
- Used for direct compression tableting & wet granulation.
- Enhances moisture control in making breads.
- Bulking agent in food products.
- Stabilizer in the manufacture of ice creams and cakes.

Sodium Carboxy Methyl Starch
Sodium carboxy methyl starch is a starch ether and in solution form it is alkaline in nature. It can also replace sodium carboxy methyl cellulose in fields like textile sizing, printing, corrugated paper, paper sizing, oil well drilling, water based distemper, oil bound distemper, electrodes, ceramics, pesticides, foundry, adhesives etc.
Applications:
- In soaps a small addition of Sodium CMS increases the suspending power and overall washing efficiency.
- Sodium CMS can be blended with native tapioca starch and used for laundry purposes.
- Sodium CMS is being used in the drilling mud formulation to increase viscosity of the mud and to increase the water retention property of the drilling mud.
- Sodium CMS is being used in the corrugated box gum along with plain tapioca starch and its addition improves the mixture of corrugation paste by keeping tapioca starch in suspension during corrugation.
- It can be used in the printing paste.

Modified Starch
Modified starch mainly includes absorbent starch, etherized starch, cross-linked starch, oxidized starch and phosphate ester starch. It is a free flowing powder free from lumps, white and off white in color.
Applications:
- It provides a homogeneous solution and very good dispersion effect & no sedimentation even after prolonged time of storage.
- It has better adhesion effect and quick drying characteristics.
- It has very good film forming characteristic for smooth and uninterrupted operation.
- No shrinkage and no peel off so paper manufacturers can overrule common problem of poor quality tube pasting powder.
- It is also widely used in food, medicine and textiles.
